Pretty nice lights; light weight, nice looking, and pretty bright. We needed to light a big painting on a high wall. Stuck all three in a row on the adjacent vaulted ceiling with the included self-adhesive hook & loop pads in about 10 min., and we keep the remote in a nearby drawer (it must be aimedd at the lights to work). Some pluses not mentioned on the Amezon page: a full set of Duracell batteries are included, and, you can press and hold the remote button, or buttons on the lights themselves, to dim them for softer light. ...UPDATE (after two weeks): The bad news: one of the adhesive pads let go at 3 a.m. and the sound of the light bouncing off our coffee table scared us half to death! The good news: light still works fine after a 15 foot fall onto a slate coffee table! I'll add a screw or two (provided) to each base. The lights still snap off their base easily for changing batteries.

The house we bought a couple of years ago was built in the mid-1960s, the tiled shower stall was dark to say the least, the bathroom lights barely made a dent in the dark. Bought a set of the Lumen LED High output spotlights and put them up on the ceiling of the shower stall -- no more dark cave. Mounted the remote switch next to the shower door, a quick tap lights all the lights, a tap upon exiting turns them off -- great product

These lights are stylishly gorgeous. The polished metal makes the lights look very expensive. The lamps have a swivel base so that you can point them where you want. Each light takes 3 AA batteries and the remote takes 3 AAA batteries. The remote works with all three lamps. However, if you aim the receiving window of a lamp away from the receiving window of the other lamps, you can "disable" that light working with the remote. Each light truly has high output. I have two on the ceiling above my office desk and at night they adequately light my work area. I would not read a book by their light, but I can easily see my desk and any working notes that I have scribbled. Each light comes with an adhesive pad, a mounting template (very nice touch!) and two mounting screws. The adhesive pad is very strong, I used it to determine if I liked the lights. The template makes drilling holes for the mounting screws very easy to do. Overall, this is one of my better purchases and I highly recommend these spotlights.

If track lighting is a little to costly for you (or if you just don't want to mess around with the electrical work), then I would highly recommend these little babies. They're light weight, battery powered, very easy to install, look nice and produce enough light to to either accent a low-lit room, spotlight a display piece, or illuminate total darkness (such as a small closet). As an added bonus, each light also has a dimmer and every set of three comes with a dual-frequency remote control. And as a further added bonus, the set here comes with all the batteries and mounting materials (screws and velcro adhesive). It even comes with paper mounting guides for the screw placement! All you need is a Phillip's screwdriver and/or a drill and you're good to go. Very high marks for ease of use and super fast set-up.

The only thing I didn't like about these LEDs is that they produce such super cold lighting (i.e., very BLUE). Something more neutral would have been much better. Also, since these are technically spotlights or "key lights," their illumination spread is entirely contingent upon how far they are set from the subject. This doesn't matter so much if you're using them to light a display (like a figurine or painting). But if you're trying give a room additional accent light, you'll have to place these lights very high up for them to blend. Otherwise, I would suggest simply bouncing them from a high wall.

But you can't beat these stand-alone LED lights for the price, and they will do just fine to fulfill many of your track light needs.

This was one of the few products that really exceeded my expectations. I wanted a small light to help brighten up some dark corners in the bathroom. It had to be battery powered since it was very impractical to put in a new outlet.

I tried some conventional battery powered lights, but they were way too dim. Also tried an LED light which was better, but still dim. Thought I'd give these a shot, and the third time was the charm - these are great! Very bright. So bright that you can't look directly into the light without being blinded and then seeing spots. Impressive for a light that runs on three AA batteries.

You can dim the light by pressing and holding the on button. The build quality is very good for this price point. The light is very cool in terms of temperature (e.g., it's on the blue-ish side of the spectrum).

The package was a great value. It comes with three lights, 9 AA batteries (3 per light), a remote control, and 3 AAA batteries for the remote. The lights can be mounted using supplied velcro or screws (I used the latter since I didn't trust the velcro in a humid environment such as a bathroom). They include the screws and even have a small template for drilling the holes in the wall. It's great that such an inexpensive product has everything needed.

I tried the remote to see if it works and it does. You do have to be careful on the angle and really aim well. I won't be using the remote for operation, so that won't be a problem for me.

Really impressed with these lights, and highly recommend them.

I'm so used to crappy LED products, these floored me. I purchased them because I could see the yellow tone of a proper latest generation chip LED behind the lens, not a bunch of old-style cheap LEDs.

They are BRIGHT. They say 90 lumens each, and they mean it. The design of the mounting is quite good, the quality is high, and they're easy to hide behind light fixtures.

Excellent power failure lights. With a touch of the remote, all my kitchen countertops are lit by floods of task lighting, easily enough to cook by.

Great product!

I just purchased these lights and like them so far. I'm not wild about them, but they're decent enough. I'm actually using them outdoors underneath my deck to light up some steps, so I'll post and let everyone know when they die.

Pros:
- Bright
- Comes with all batteries (and it's a lot of batteries)
- Price

Cons:
- IR technology with a small sensor on each unit. You have to point pretty directly at a spot the size of a quarter on each light to get it to turn off/on. I'd really have preferred RF so I could turn them on/off a lot easier.
- Big remote. Why is this remote so huge? Holding it, I feel like an old person who should be in a Life Alert commercial trying to reach my comically large phone that's just inches away from my dying grasp. Seriously, the remote is about the size of a half of a deck of playing cards and twice as thick. Totally unnecessary.

These lights are simple to install and work as a nice accent to my front room. I was going to hire an electrician to install a power outlet in the top shelf that spans around my kitchen and living room so I could place accent lighting, but these little lights saved me the trouble.

The good:

Bad:
There is a learning curve, if you point the remote incorrectly ½ the lights will turn on. Try to turn them off and the others come on...you have to hold down the button and they will all work. Of course, you can avoid the issue if you simply point the device at the lights correctly.

I did not use the Velcro, but it does come with mounting screws if you are worried about attachment. I simply set them on my shelf and they work well as an accent.

I have 6 in a row pointed at my ceiling and they do a nice job of light illumination. They are bright, but I'm not sure how well they perform as actual spotlights as that is not how I use them.

I have had my spotlights up for all of 5 minutes now. 1 pointed at a 24X36 inch fuji pearl paper picture of the zion narrows and 1 20X20 of bryce canyon. I have the spotlights about 2 feet away from the picture on the ceiling. Its making about a 3 to 4 foot long oval of light. same distance on the 20X20. I like the light on the 24X36 because the light cast is right for the dimensions however the 20X20 has lots of extra light above and below it and it is in a darker corner of the room so I can see a dark halo within the light cast. It looks unprofessional. I chose to put the lights close to the picture because it made the colors really pop and seemed to make the whole photograph glow. I didn't care for it far away. it dulled down the presentation. turning on and off the lights is a breeze. installing them was too easy. I bought two packs of eneloop batteries so they will last longer than regular rechargables. defintely look into these. oh, also, I was nervous about the lights themselves looking bulky and ugly. seeing them for the first time was a shock at how big they looked (hockey puck size) but once I get them up they look just fine.

Based on the amazon reviews, I bought these lights for two small closets that had no lights. My ceilings are very high, over 9 feet, so the regular push lights were not going to work. These are very bright lights, much brighter than the usual LEDs. Two were enough for one closet and one was plenty to light the dark corner of another closet. The remote control worked easily. And batteries were included for lights and remote control. Great buy.
