LED Programmable Message Pocket Fan & Rave Toy

I bought a couple of these, I'm glad I did. Turns out; they're fun and interesting.

They're easy to program, just play with the buttons, or give them to a 12 year old. You can choose from CAPITOL LETTERS, numbers 0123456789, punctuation ? , + - = ! # $ & X ÷ @ ' ¢ £ ¥ etc. and a heart.

A bonus feature is that they're not boring. They don't just show the words you program, they do a display routine.

After you've programmed these and you turn them on, they cycle the message in a variety of ways: flashing on & off, painting the letters from 1st to last then last to 1st, rotating clockwise then counterclockwise, blinking at varying rates... After a while, a repeating pattern of dispay schemes may become apparent; but the routine is sufficiently complex that it seems random unless observed intensly.

They are quite bright in-doors, but become difficult to read in direct / bright sunlight. That's reasonable though, they are totally apropriate for what they're presented to be. I think they're better than their price.

I used them to flirt with a girl I'm dating. She loved them immediately. She was totally surprised by them, especially because of the varying display program that I described above. She had to watch and see what the message developed into, because the fan does'nt show all the message right away, it sort of teases the message out. This turns out to be much better than just showing the message, you have to stop and watch it for a few seconds to see what happens. Cool!

One she kept the way I had programmed, but the other's message I left more generic so as to prompt her to try programming it herself, which she did; she used it to flirt with me! So one became a memory from me, and the other she can play with and use to make messages of her own.

They don't make great / strong fans, but they are fun little signs. They're easy to program / customize, and make fun, interesting, economical, and useful / reuseable gifts.

Product arrived, and worked as advertised.

The fan actually puts out a decent amount of air as well which is an added plus!

The system lets you program up to four separate messages and the instructions to do so are pretty straight forward.
Not much else to say, cheap item, good value, worked as advertised. :)
