We have several of these night lights, rotate them through the boys' rooms, and find them fun and useful.
There are many different styles/colors available. The color of the globe determines the intensity of the night light function. The projections seem pretty standard in their light intensity and range/distance Benefits * 2-in-1 (nightlight and projection) design is compact-- cordless & no need to make space on a shelf or dresser (like larger projectors) * globe is adjustable, allowing for some adjustment in the projection (although in one plane only) * cool to the touch * energy efficient * easy to use Drawbacks * limited ability to adjust the projection (only moves in one plane- vertically; there is no horizontal adjustment for the projection)

Our light sockets are all horizontal, instead of vertical. This will not let you rotate it, so the snowman is sideways on the wall, can't rotate it to the ceiling. I was hoping it would also cover a larger area, like the whole room with snowflakes, but it's more like a spotlight effect.
