When these units are not defective they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. I highly recomment them as they have saved me a fortune in electrical costs. You water less, fertilize less but use a stronger solution when you do. Once you work out the details you will be extremely happy as long as you are prepared to keep replacing them with new units.

Finding one that is still working after more than 2 years of operation is almost impossible. Remember, they advertise that the bulbs last 10 years or more, 50,000 hours or more. No mention of the high failure rate. And these UFO's do fail at an alarming rate. Every couple of months I will notice that one of them only has half their LED's working. No problem they send out a replacement power unit and you are up and running again, sometimes. Other times half of them just go out and replacing the power unit does not fix the problem, so instead of 90 watts going to your plants only 45 watts are. These are only guarenteed for like 45 days or some silly thing like that.

And I received several that were defective when I took them out of the box and plugged them in. I had to pay the postage to return the initially defective units. Ledwholesalers should have paid to take back the initially defective units.

I mixed these quad band with single spectrum 660nm UFO's to get the best results. As long as you are prepared for the high failure rate and don't mind buying them over again, you should have the same great results I have had. There is no other product I have purchased in the last 5 years with such an unbelievably high failure rate. LED's are the wave of the future but they have got to fix this high failure rate.

I've read all the reviews about this grow light and it's failures and successes. I went out on a limb and purchased this plus 2 Sunshine Systems LEDGP14 LED Grow Light 14WT of these for my tomato plants, which I have in an Aerogarden. While the initial growth is great with an aerogarden, it seems very weak when it comes time for flowering, the tomtos just didn't seem to be getting enough energy.

I removed the top of the aerogarden and set the UFO above the plant about 6 inches or so, centered. I placed the two panels bracketing the plant on the right and left sides. In 4 days I've watched the plant grow about 2 inches in height and the yellow flowers start to form and blossom like crazy. It's filling in, too.

As far as I can tell so far, this is a definite win. There's no heat to speak of, the energy cost is lowered, and plant growth seems turbocharged.

An excellent product.

Buy 4 to replace your 1000 watt HPS. 360w of pure photosynthesis power ( perfectly tuned light spectrum )with proof of performance to a 600+ watt HPS and no wasted power to HEAT!... Simple choice.
Look at my pics and video. 30+yr grower... not a poser or kid. This is fact, brothers ans sisters,... Straight up better.

I am an older guy - been growing only a short time. The results have been very good.

This purchase was actually my third 90w LED and watt for watt the best lights available.

Anybody who says the 90w LED doesn't work has never tried one.

Sorry folks, the day or the HID is over, take your inefficient lighting and stuff it. If you have one of these beasts per plant you will enjoy a fire hazard free, low energy consumption, no heat producing, happy plant producing experience. Any questions?

I've had the unit now for about 2 months, but only in use for one month. I was sceptical about a 90 watt LED growlight. I was told by several people with experience in this area to make sure the LED light I purchased had 1 watt LED bulbs, rather than the half watt light bulbs. I can not believe how well my plants have responded to this light, growing at almost twice as fast as with a 600 watt HPS system. The cost to run this baby is almost nothing, compared to the latter system. It has three fans that run very quietly and I can not hear them unless I am in the same room as the light. All in all, I see potential for this light and am delighted that my plants just love this puppy. I am only growing two plants in a hydro grow tent. I am now considering another purchase of one more light to double my growing space. I would recommend this unit to friends.

I've used this led light for about a year now and i can say it really works light a charm! It works great with many different type of plants. Fast growth and sturdy plants. For the price it would be the one you should go with. If u are the type of person thats grows larger plants its really only gonna be good for one once they get larger. If you are looking to grow multiple plants go with led wholesaler panel 300watts! Also works like a charm!

This ufo light has been great for growing a very large banana palm that was distressed in my basement from the Chicago early fall weather. I recommend the light and the seller.

No complaints a month in with it. A lot less heat means less stress in a small area.

This is my second purchase of the LED technology. I was impressed with the first one (glow panel 45), but this far surpasses my expectations. Anyone looking for better growing technology should give LED an opportunity. I am more than impressed. Shipped and received in the time frame allotted. Overall a perfect buy. 5 stars
