Just like other's, my tent is very well constructed. A few seams on the vents were weak, but nothing thermal tape couldn't handle. The tent has 3 rectangular vents near the floor. The flaps let in a little light, but not much. They allow for excellent passive airflow. The 3 circular vents are all 6 inches. It's easy to set up, very doable for a tall person, and the canvas is really heavy duty.

First of all...shipping was nice and fast. The bulk of the weight is the actual Mylar material. The frame is pretty firm. I have a 50 lb. Sun System 2 grow light in mine and it holds fine. May want to secure them with a small screw or something to help them from sliding across the top, but no biggie. Wouldnt hurt to have an extra hand to help with assembly. Took about 30 mins or so total. Zippers are heavy duty and had NO troubles with them. Only light leaks I have are little spots from the vents on the sides and the meeting places of the zippers of course, but its still VERY effective holding light in! Have ours in our basement. Turned all the lights off outside and can hardly tell its there. Holds heat/humidity very well so its easy to control those things with the right equipment. Surprisingly quiet from the outside as well. Overall, for the price compared to some others such as Secret Jardin(very nice as well) I would HIGHLY recommend this. You wont be disappointed. Will prolly buy another later on ;)

Heavy duty support rods, heavy duty zippers, There are 4" ducts around bottom and top sides, and a 6" duct on top. Everything is awesome for the cost.

However, the seam holding the heavy duty zippers to the nice mylar/waterproof material is rather weak. One of the areas on the bottom by the zipper seam popped, and I had to have my wife sew it up with some military grade thread. If you have this problem, I recommend you do the same, and you will have an awesome tent.

Zipper is upside down, but who cares, it does what it's supposed to.

Got to me fast!! thumbs up for that. Let me see...Ok set up was easy as could be, instructions were a little foggy but not enough to get lost. I like that it opens all the way up. Nice heavy material which is a plus. The velcro on the doors is nice u don't have to worry about the doors laying on u. Didn't have any problems as far as the zippers go, the fact it zips up instead of down don't bother me. Looks like it will last for a while will post another one later and let u know how its holding up.

Got my tent very fast and I'm in love with it. Very durable and heavy material. Has three ventilation holes all 6 in. in diameter for your ducting and three ventilation windows at the bottom. Would of liked some 4 in. holes but you can easily rig them. One of the best prices on the market for a tent this size and its definitely worth your money.

I give high marks on this tent all the way around:

Shipped within 24 hours; well packaged, no missing parts; seems to be good workmanship in the stitching, zippers, etc. I was able to assemble myself with no problems (helps to be tall) in about 20 min. Instructions and diagrams simple to read. The tent fit just right around the frame, not too tight or too loose.

Wanted to clarify on the size of the openings: The one I received (Aug 2011) definitely has 6" duct openings top and bottom; 6" pipe slips through easily. Great, since most of the lamps seem to have 6" openings. I think 4" duct would work if you tied it up tight and made sure it was lightproof. The instructions still say 4", so I presume they changed the design at some point after the instructions were printed.

I have never used a grow tent before so I have nothing to compare it to. But it seems ideal for small-scale indoor growing. I am considering a second unit so I can run separate light cycles, and I would not hesitate ordering this model again.

This thing came with totally stoner-proof instructions, and no tools are required. It took the two of us about 15 minutes to put it together. (FYI: If you read EVERY word and follow it, and you will assemble it faster than we did.) With a 400watt light, it does heat up to about 93 degrees in there, making the fans necessary. Only a pinpoint of light leaks out here and there, mostly at the ends of the zippers, but a flap folds over it. This is very fun to own because everything is compact, contained, and organized in there. I have peace of mind that it is secure and my pets can't get in and eat my plants now.

This tent does the job. It's not fancy... just a typical tent rod structure with a mylar-line reflective lining placed around it. The quality of the stitching of the lining and the zipper quality are good... I do not expect any tears. The placement of the upper vents is a bit inconvenient for most air cooled reflectors but perfect for the Supernova which I plan to buy. That's because there is one vent on top of the tent (not centered) and another on one of the sides. There are not two upper vents on opposing sides like with most tents.

The one thing I don't like is that the vents have sleeves into the tent. I'll have to cut them off when the time comes. That is my only complaint... and it's not really a problem.

This tent doesn't have a lot of flashy extras but its value for your money. It's reflective, can handle the weight of an HPS bulb, socket and reflector and it doesn't allow light leaks. That's all you really need in a small grow tent.

Overall very nice tent for the money. Nice heavy material. The zipper for the door is upside down. It really should zip down from the top, but zips up from the bottom. This makes it harder to use overall. Plus the zipper on this tent also is defective. It will not zip up correctly across the top. The zipper basically came apart. Might be why they are cheap. I would buy more of these at this price though.

Works just fine for grow room and dry room. I have a 4" fox farm 165cfm fan out of it keeping temps OK. If you do your math right with lighting you'll find out you more than likely are going to be purchasing a cooled hood as well. So if your on a budget consider that the nicer tents do have a little more reinforced structure, but you will still be needing a hood as well for them.

4/5 Vents are sealed with flaps that just hang, no Velcro. For whatever the cost of Velcro attachment is these days, these guys could have done wonders for me. The Zipper T's at the top and has small light leak. Nothing to worry about though, well unless your using it outside... :/
