I purchased this fan to attach to a carbon filter and/or circulate air through my 600 watt cool tube. My tent is only 4x4 so a huge velocity fan is not needed. I can't believe this fan is only rated at 205 cfm as it feels like 300 cfm +. I built my own carbon scrubber (it is 14 inches tall) and this fan circluates air through it no problem. I am planning to purchase a 2nd fan now that I know this is legit. I saw it had no reviews, but was being sold by LED Wholesalers, the same company I had purchased my tents from and decided to give it a go. Opted for Prime 1 day shipping and had in LESS than 24hrs. This fan is great also because it only runs at 65 watts. I dont need to run at 120 + watt or 440cfm this overkill for my current setup which translates to inefficiency. I would not recommend this fan for super large setups (over 4 lights 600-1000watt) or very large carbon filters. (25 lbs plus). Thanks GYO Supplies and LEDWholesalers for a product that performs and does not empty my wallet. Being Prime members is great too!

Out of the box, this fan is robust. That is usually a good sign with certain items.

It moves an amazing amount of air. Seriously. It's like a heavy duty, metal shop fan. Of course, with ducting, that will reduce the cfm some...but I would not be surprised if this fan was closer to 300 cfm. Highly under rated. If the test of a good exhaust fan is being able to pull a tissue to the grate/grill covering it...this little monster beats that by a mile. It will suck your HAND into the intake (be careful there!).

I will be needing a fan speed controller for my application.

At this price, you'd be foolish to waste your time and money on any of the duct booster/bathroom exhaust type fans. I did that, so you didn't have to go through that...

I bought this fan for ventilating my greenhouse and was a bit skeptical at first with it only moving 206 CFM but once installed and running it provides nice air movement. If I were you I would buy this fan and I recommend that you get the variable speed adjustment for it to tailor the amount of air exchanges needed. GOOD LUCK! ;{)

The review by "Inlinefanreviewer" is absolutely correct. I also received a fan that is wired for 260V use and with a plug that will not work in the United States. Typical China made product. No labeling on the shipping carton depicting the configuration of the fan, so how would anyone know what is in the box. I will be returning this and not purchasing this product at all.

I had read the other positive reviews and decided to make the purchase. When I received the fan i realized that the plug/wiring was incorrect!!!! In the written description it is spec'd to be 110v and the picture depicts the typical 110v grounded plug that you'd expect. I opened my fan to find a 250v plug/wiring, the type used for large appliances like refrigerators, ovens, larger AC units etc. and it was also in the european/chinese plug configuration. Clearly this fan will not suite your 110v application needs. AMAZON was helpful and granted my refund, but this doesn't help me have the fan that I needed at the time that I needed it. LEDWholesalers quickly rushed me another one which is on its way but were not able to confirm if it had the correct wiring as their stock is held at the AMAZON warehouse.....I can't imagine that just my 1 fan had the incorrect wiring....very frustrating.

UPDATE!!!!! So LED WHOLESALERS sent me another fan to try and make up for their error. They were not able to confirm if I would be receiving the correctly wired fan because the product is stored in AMAZON's warehouse. Sure enough, the fan I received is still not as described and wired with a plug that will only work in China!!!!! This is ridiculous!!! After two lengthy calls into AMAZON customer service the product is still available to order and still has the incorrect item description. A customer has let them know they are selling a mis-advertised item not once, but twice and they are still allowing unsuspecting customers to purchase something they cannot use....and that is not OK. DO NOT BUY THIS FAN. It is a waste of your time and energy. I just purchased a nice Suncourt Fan. It is more expensive....but as you can see....you get what you pay for...and in this case even far less that what you pay for.

I thought this fan had variable speed - I goofed. It doesn't. And for my case, the speed it runs at is way too fast. So, for those that want a strong duct fan - this one is your baby. For those that want to be able to control the duct fan, this one isn't your baby. Unless you subsequently purchase a speed controller for somewhere under $30 (I did).

i bought this exhaust fan expecting a midsize somewhat weak fan but boy was i wrong. this fan is labeled as only 206 CFM's but i think that this is way underestimated. it seems to be much more powerful maybe even reaching 300 CFM's. if you are looking for an economic powerful exhaust fan you cant go wrong with this one.

Ok nice unit, large and loud. Sounds like a jet engine. No speed control. Serious fan , prewired with pretty short cord. Unit says 96 watts but it seems like it would use more power. So if sound is not an issue and you need to move some serious air this is a good fan.

As others have noted, this item was shipped with wiring for 250V supply and will not work with American power outlets. Ridiculous. I'll be sending this back and looking elsewhere.
