Product Description

Product Code: 3 WATT CREE LED HP MINI POCKET EDC FLASHLIGHT DESCRIPTION: HIGH POWERED PROFESSIONAL GRADE LED POCKET FLASHLIGHT FOR EVERY DAY CARRY FEATURES:  High powered bright white 3 watt Cree LED in a mini flashlight with lanyard. Precision machined threads for durability. Scratch resistant black finish. BENEFITS: This model is the most functional EDC (Every Day Carry). It is so small you can loop the lanyard on your keychain as the highest powered keychain flashlight or just keep it in the bottom of your pocket. It shines hundreds of feet in distance on just one AAA battery. It can be run on one AAA Heavy Duty or Alkaline battery. It's a great main light since spare AAAs are so easy to carry. It's also an exceptional back up in case your larger main flashlight was to run low. This tiny flashlight is seriously powerful. It's deep textured reflector generates a tight center beam illuminating out to a few hundred feet in distance. It has sufficient blinding power for use as a quick and handy self defence weapon. This great reflector also produces a wide outer moon beam for uniform illumination necessary for walking or everyday work. The rear clicky switch is much easier to use one handed than most of the twisty head styles. The hard durable black finish keeps them looking new for a long time. They are so handy that most of the staff at our office carry one in their pocket everyday as a bright little light for work or for on the way home in the evening. You will be thoroughly satisfied with the features and brightness of your new mini pro grade pocket light. I was looking for a key-chain flashlight to replace my aging MAGLITE Solitaire (1xAAA). I was hoping for something a little brighter and wow, did I find it. This light is a little larger than the Solitaire, but not enough to tell while in my pocket. The push button operation ensures easy single-handed use and the button is recessed just enough so accidental activation should not occur.

There are other lights out there with multiple modes of operation (i.e. high, medium, low, strobe, SOS, etc), but this one doesn't fit into these categories. It only has two modes of operation, on and off. Because I'm using this as a key-chain light, I only need these two modes. I subscribe to simplicity and convenience when it comes to tools and this satisfies this nicely.

It is very well constructed and appears to be weather resistant by utilizing o-rings in its design. If you are looking for a LED replacement for your key-chain, get this one and you will not be disappointed.

Update 1/29/2014: I still love this little light and carry it every where I go and plan on getting a few more. But, to be honest the advertised 90 lumens is high. I just purchased a Fenix PD35 (a lot larger led) and used it as a comparison. This tiny light just about matches the Fenix at its low level (45 lumens), so I figure this is a realistic 40 lumens. Still, It is the brightest AAA light out there.

This product sets a new standard in pocket lights, its bright I mean really bright not just bright for a pocket light but black helicopter search light bright. Say you were out in the middle of nowhere and your headlights burned out. Well with this excellent product you could just tape this light to the front of your car or bike and you'd be good to go.
Without doubt the best feature on this item is its push button on/off switch. Oh how often have all of us bought one of those twist on/off lights only to have it fall apart the first time we use it, well once anyway, and I was terribly terribly disapointed.
My only complaint with this fine insturment is the method of attaching a lanyard or key-ring is by a tiny hole in the body of the light. If I were asked to improve this product I'd use a revolving swivel with a heavy wire loop.
In conclusion buy this light it is really really good!

I bought this light(90 lumens) and the Olight i3(70 lumens). Both had very good reviews. The Olight cost about $4-5 more. I put 1 brand new Energizer AAA from the same package into each light to compare fairly. I shined the lights on a white wall in a dark room from 12 feet away.
This light has a more penetrating beam with a small bright center (hotspot). The center is a bit uneven and irregular shaped. The halo, or spill, is dim but still useful. The Olight is more of a floodlight, yet does have a bright center which is larger, perfectly circular, and blends much more seamlessly into the halo. In a darkened hallway, the olight actually seems brighter than this light, but this light's hotspot is noticeably brighter and prominent.
This light is over 3 1/4" long x 11/16" diameter at the head. I first unscrewed this light by the head as I expected, but that only exposed the delicate LED chip. What the heck! wrong end. there WAS a flimsy looking o-ring there. I re-assembled and noticed the tail also unscrewed. OK, the battery goes here, but no o-ring!!! That explains why one reviewer said it died after being in a wet pocket.
the Olight i3 is about 1/2" shorter and 1/8"+ thinner than this light. This may not sound like much, but side by side, the Olight seems like 50% smaller and easier for my pocket(I removed the Olight clip with the included tool to further make it smaller). It also has 3 brightness modes(nice and all useful), and a wider more even beam which is more helpful for most needs. Olight is also much better build quality than this light. Olight is waterproof with only 1 opening and quality o-ring (they also give you 2 extras!!) It also comes with a duracell battery.
It was any easy choice for me to keep the Olight as it is a much better value and substantially smaller.

I'm used to Luxeon LED's, which I had thought were bright, so this little Cree LED flashlight was a very pleasant surprise. Just short of laser-bright, the tiny key chain flashlight has everything I had wanted: astonishing brightness; a very convenient, tactical / tail-mounted, firm clicky switch that is very unlikely to be accidentally triggered in the most crowded pocket, so you're not going to be stuck with a dead light when you need it most; power from a single AAA battery; and an elegant form factor and finish, with a slick, matte black surface. Also an included lanyard and keychain mount. I assume this was assembled by LED Wholesalers themselves from available parts, and they did a great job. The only odd note is that it has no imprint or logo on it whatsoever, and though it is clearly brand new, arriving in a sealed little box with a bubble wrap bag inside, there is no label or literature of any kind, anywhere. One feature I'd like to see added: a small carabiner or snap hook for easy attachment / detachment to keyrings. Still, I don't usually think of flashlights as a fun item, but this little light is fun. It is also so bright that it could easily be used for self-defense; even in the daytime, the light is blinding when looked at directly, and at night it would certainly have a stun/dazzle effect. If you're looking for a keychain flashlight, stop looking and buy this one.
