This system is far from IRAC. IRAC gives no guidance for how to organize an exam, or what each section of IRAC really means, and so you are left to come up on your own how to fill in the gaps besides putting the issue first, rule second, application third, and then ending with a conclusion. While professors may pretend to help you better understand IRAC, it will likely be of little help because it makes grading easier if students do not know how to compose a competent exam.

Instead, it lays out a detailed system for how you should attack a legal exam by subdividing the elements of claims and then systematically looking to make sure each element is satisfied, while arguing for both sides.

The single most important skill necessary for success in law school is the ability to write a well-reasoned essay examination. This system will guide you in how to structure your exam answers. Using this system made a big difference in my grades. I would recommend this system to all of my friends entering law school.

This guy drones on and on. Its just IRAC and dont be nervous, get sleep, study the law, make a plan, outline your answers, with a bunch of blob drawings full of squiggly lines that are never actually explained and have no relevence. Your law school library will have this, you can look at it for 10 minutes and discard it as useless.
