This lego has proved very popular with my son (aged 6) and all his playdates. It looks good and works well. However, the kit lacks an essential item - a tube of good glue. After playing for the first time, we needed to move the pitch, and there was no way to pick it up without it falling apart! I subsequently bought the Lego storage table to try and fit it onto something stable, but it doesn't fit properly and is way bigger than any of the bases we've been able to find. The solution was superglue, which of course prevents us from remodelling the traditional pitch into anything else....I would also take issue with Lego's policy of providing no spare bits whatsoever - except balls and elastic bands. There are quite a few little fiddly bits which tend to flip off (yes, even when glued in place), more specifically those that keep the net in place. A good goal and an agitated goalie could have you writing to Lego for spare parts while you spend the next few weeks crawling around to look for lost balls which get through the back of the net when the fiddly bits fall off....

This Lego Set Works Well and Stays Together,

My four year old received this for his birthday. Although he could not assemble it himself, once it was assembled he and my ten year old have really enjoyed playing with it. I assumed it would fall apart like many of the other Lego sets and be too frustrating for a four year old, but it stays together remarkably well.

Worst Lego Design,

My kids love Legos and we have so many but this one has no durability whatsoever. It fell apart a day after we got it and the parts have been sitting in the box ever since. It needs some type of support base with it to help hold the board together. My 10 year old could not put this set together and got extremely frustrated. What's the point if they have to wait for their parents to put it together.
