An honest-to-goodness LEGOmaniac, my son was given this set for his eighth birthday. I actually think he has played more with this line (Aquaraiders) than he has with past sets (even Star Wars). This set was a little more challenging and model-like but offers older children with steady hands endless play. Certain pieces detach easily, like the crab claws, which may frustrate younger builders. Older kids will simply re-attach the appendages and play on.

This was suggested by our 7 yr old grandson's mother for him. He is compulsive about finishing the Legos he has had before and we thought this one a real challange. IT WAS. This one took longer to do and was harder for him. He loved it..

I bought this toy for my son, 6 years old and he loved it so much.

He starts building it up right away. Now he very much likes playing with LEGO toys that he build.

I'd recommend this to everyone who is looking for a gift that challenge your love ones.

This set is the best Lego set I have ever gotten. I love it. The firing tarpedo works well and the sub has some real looking details on it. AWSOME!!!!!!!

My son is 6, and this was #1 on his wish list. It was harder to build than some of his other legos, and it took him longer (which is great to me). Now he plays with it for hours!
