Epic fun at a great cost. The main western dragon (standing) reaches about 9 to 10 inches in height, and, including the wings, 15 inches across. It can be rebuild into an eastern dragon (serpent-like, with no wings, longer body), and an ogre. However, I started with the western dragon, and liked it so much I couldn't bring myself to deconstruct it.

All the big poseable joints of the legs, knees, ankles, arms, wings, and neck are strong to be knocked to the ground without dislocating. The only parts that seem most likely to break off due to rough playing would be the two back claws and two on the side of the foot, but that's just minor gripes.

I'm impressed with how strong the big poseable joints are. They can not be bought separately from Lego.com's Pick a Brick section, so you can only get these from similar mythical/animal Creator sets.

There are smaller poseable joints that make up the rest of the arm and tail, so be sure not to pull them too hard. The ball+cup joints (similar to ball+socket skeleton joints) are strong, but I suspect in time, they will become looser and less poseable. However, you can buy those at Lego's Pick a Brick section if you need to replace them.

Overall, a fun, great quality set.

Got this last Christmas for my 8 year old. He loved it and so did my older son. They had a lot of fun working together to build it.

This was a fun set for my little girls (ages 4 and 6) and I to make together. They loved the various options to build. The dragon's wings come apart during play easily. However, the set is still fun and stimulates creative play. I would recommend this set.

Given as a gift to my grandson. Needs help putting it together (he's 5) but he loves it! Big hugs & big thank-yous! Definitely, a hit!

My 10 year old received this for Christmas and loved it. This is a set rarely found in stores and was a great find.

Hard to find-not even available through Lego ! My son spent hours assembling and reassembling-He just loves the 3 in 1 Lego sets!

We just got this for our 6 year old son for Christmas (I know it says for age 7 but he's a lego maniac already). He and his dad worked on putting it together for about an hour and a half. It's really awesome!!! For a child that likes Legos and dragons, this is the best thing ever! He could have put it together by himself but dad really wanted to get in on the Lego action. As for durability, any lego model must have a little more care used when playing with it but compared to KNex, Legos Rule! We also got him a KNex model for Christmas and it just won't stay in one piece during playtime. We haven't tried the other two models that can be built with this set yet since he likes the dragon so much.

This was a Christmas gift for my 7 year old son who is a hardcore Lego fan. He built the Ogre right away then took that apart and built the Oriental Dragon. He especially loves the light-up bricks. Great product. He plays with it almost everyday.

We are true Lego fans and this didn't let us down. My youngest has recently gotten into dragons so when I saw this Lego set we had to get it for him.

I purchased this Lego for my 9 year old son and by looking at the toy, he could build it in less than one hour. If you are a parent this Lego set is definitely for 7 and under.
