Ever since my son started getting into the Lego City sets, he's had his eye on the Lego City Camper set. He loves the Lego sets that "do stuff" and this one does a lot. The back opens up so you can set up eating and sleeping arrangements, and there are enough accessories (surfboard, bicycle, grill, fish, mugs and frying pan) to keep the minifigure pair (a man and a woman) busy.

Complexity: This is a fairly complex set. You build the bottom half of the camper and the cab, and then the fold-out camper shell halves are assembled. My son took care of the minifigures and some of the larger pieces (windows, wheels, etc.), but I had to build the rest.

Playability: It's a bit tricky getting the camper open, but once you do the play possibilities are endless. Between the camper configurations and copious accessories, the two vacationing minifigures (so far dubbed Mama and Dada) can have plenty of adventures.

This set was money well spent, and a great addition to our growing Lego City. I also think it makes a great gender-neutral set, more so than the fire and police sets at least.

This is not only a "put together" toy, but it also has great play value. My grandson loves Lego. Usually, he has fun putting it together but this one he actually plays with. He loves the outdoors so this is a perfect toy for him.

My daughter got this for her 7th birthday and really enjoyed putting it together. She continues to play using it with her other lego sets. Perfect size, it didn't take so long to put together that she got bored, and an excellent price.

This is a very nice set for the price. My just 6 year old daughter loves it! I built it with her the first time, but she could build it herself after that. There is just one hard step where you attach the hinges so the sides swing open. She has a hard time figuring out which way to put them on, so they swing properly. I would consider her an average builder. She is not interested in a lot of the Lego City sets (fire, police, etc), but this one caught her eye. A great set for a girl (or boy)!

My son has recently been introduced to the Lego world. He saw this camper and had to have it. It was not difficult to put together and it offers an opportunity for his imagination to get to work.

My 7-year-old daughter received this for Christmas and she was so excited. I purchase it along with the Lego's Sports car and it pairs up with the City Corner very nicelyLEGO Sports Car. It does require patience to put together-something that an older child may have. I've rated it four stars because like most Lego projects on wheels, they can come disassembled while playing with. It was a reasonable price and she's still playing with it. She did mention to me that having additional Lego's people would make it more fun.

Wow, this is one of the best lego vehicles! It is so cute and realistic! My son loved putting this together (as he always does) but he also loved actually playing with the camper (driving it around and opening it up to view and put the people inside) and play with all of its pieces such as the bicycle. This is a great piece that any boy who loves legos and especially lego vehicles, will like!
