4.0 out of 5 stars Less than $10, great minifigures!
This set at less than ten bucks is well worth it for the 2 minifigures alone: Sharkman and a Deep-Sea Diver. The Sharkman has a full shark head (not just a "shark hat" for a regular Lego guy). The Diver has a unique helmet/tank combination that is not found outside the Atlantis sets. The underwater vehicle is designed with multi-pivot engines in the back and 2 shooting...

3.0 out of 5 stars Looks good but doesn't hold up to playing
The minifigures are great and the ship looks good, but it's easily shattered. Several parts are held together by just one nub, so as the kids are playing with it, it continually breaks apart and has to be rebuilt.

The underwater vehicle is designed with multi-pivot engines in the back and 2 shooting pistons in the front. This set is small enough for a child to put together in about 5-10 minutes according to their level of experience with Lego, and it's handy to tote around and play with easily. Great value for the fun!

This ia a gift for my son. He loves legos and will happy to receive this. I only wish we could preserve them once they were put together.

This is an awesome Lego set. It's very fun for anyone who enjoys the legend of the lost city of Atlantis. Great for encouraging kids to use their imagination. It's not an overly complex set so kids should be able to put it together without much assistance.

My son and I had it together in 5 minutes after opening the package. Next thing I know it is off around the house exploring, and it doesn't touch down again till bedtime.

If you have an experienced Lego person in your house, this will take about 10 minutes to assemble. If you have a child engineer instead, it will take about an hour, after they figure out and explore all the working parts! We have the latter and if those boys at Lego don't have fun at their jobs, I'd be quite surprised! All the neat moving parts on this guy are outstanding. Plus, it looks like a tractor when it's done so it looks pretty neat with the City series too because you can turn it into an International tractor without much trouble. The shark minifigure, however, is the house favorite. The expression on his face is just hysterical and the adults just love playing with him! Great, great toy, highly recommend!
