5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for my 6-year old
My 6-year old son got this in his Easter Basket this year. He loves this game, and anything Lego. The game is basically like tic-tac-toe, but it is with four pieces in a row. He seemed to quickly understand the game rules and the concept of the joker/wild skeletons and the scary spider. The box is extra sturdy so it can take extra wear with travel. My son takes it...

3.0 out of 5 stars Lego Block: Monsters
Fun for 7 & 4 year old to put together, directions are good. Playing is not exciting and there's no counting, only strategy that's a little bit beyond their learning level now. They did enjoy laying with the Lego spider and the colorful dice. I might rewrite the rules to create more of a learning challenge for them. Overall it's okay. It might turn into a space ship...

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for my 6-year old, April 15, 2010

My 6-year old son got this in his Easter Basket this year. He loves this game, and anything Lego. The game is basically like tic-tac-toe, but it is with four pieces in a row. He seemed to quickly understand the game rules and the concept of the joker/wild skeletons and the scary spider. The box is extra sturdy so it can take extra wear with travel. My son takes it with him everywhere and loves to play with anyone, or by himself - rolling the die for two different characters. He's now starting to redesign the game board and pieces to his own liking and creativity. Definitely recommend.

We are a LEGO household with two LEGO masters in this house, ages 11 and 12. When I saw this game, I thought what a great concept! Not only do you get to play a cool game, you get to make the game board!

The kids absolutely loved it! The die--you even build that!--was a fun addition to this game. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys LEGOS. We're going to be getting the other games this year, too.

We bought this game for a summer camping activity.
It was a fairly easy set up, these game boards are pretty creative.

The rules were basic, simple and still fun!!!
Definatley a great quick game to play.
The kids can handle this one alone too.

Game plays fairly quickly with 2 players. My 4 year olds can play with their 7 year old brother--they don't really get the strategy of blocking someone but they can understand 4 in a row wins. Once assembled the game fits in the box. Only down side is the little pieces (we store ours in a ziploc bag inside the box). This is our 2nd lego game & we're just as happy with it as Minotarus.

This is a simple, fun game. It is terrific because your child needs to put it together before (s)he can play it. You even put the die together! Play is a bit like tic-tac-doe, except you can move your pieces around and the white ghosts are "wild." The board tends to fall apart, so we reinforced it with some long, rectangular LEGO pieces we had around. Now it is terrific! The description says, that this is for ages 7+, but I think my kids would have loved this even in Kindergarden, when they were 5! It is really fun - not spooky at all.

By the time you build the game board it falls apart. The boardpieces do not stay together and is very frustrating. Easy game to play only if it would stay together. Disappointed in Lego.

We read about this line of lego games and tried this one out and thought it was great. Our boy picked up the rules quickly, had fun setting it up and really likes playing it over and over again. I must have in our gaming arsenal!

Way to go Lego!!!
