I purchased this set along with the dino birthday for Christmas for my 2 year old. While not the recommended age for this product, my son loves dinos and legos, so this was perfect for him. He loves to play with this set. There are no teeny tiny pieces in this set. It is very easy for him to handle. No troubles putting together or taking apart. We have had many dino attacks since he got this set. My husband loves it too!!!

This set is great - the T-Rex is much bigger than I thought it would be, and our 17-month old loves it and drags it everywhere. The "Mountain" base is also very popular, and very good-sized. He puts all the characters and animals (and toy cars, etc.) inside, and builds things on top. There is a giant variety of different kinds of parts, which makes for lots of options when putting things together. This set is in the top 2 or three of all his toys. We paid $48, and that seemed like a fair price for so many legos and so many big ones.

I bought this for my 3 yr old son for Christmas and he loves it. He always wanted to play with my older son's Lego with all it's million of small pieces so we got this for him instead. He just loves the big pieces which are easier for him to handle and putting them together and taking it apart.

This is a very nice LEGO Duplo set. It comes with a cave, a T-Rex (with movable jaws), a pterosaur and baby, and a triceratops and baby. It's a bit strange that a dinosaur set should include cavemen with furs, boats, wood fires, etc. since dinosaurs and humans are separated over 60 million years, but this isn't going to bother kids young enough to be playing with a Duplo set. In all, this is a cute set with a lot of unusual little pieces. It makes a good gift for a kid who already has the standard Lego sets.

This was shipped fairly fast and came on time for a gift.

It did not stay together in some parts but overall was pretty good. The dinosaurs were awesome and the people and the equipment were cool.

As a homeschooling parent of 6 children, two of which are considered disabled; I'm always looking for fun, family oriented, educational products. This set is one that we love. The quality is always exceptional as expected from the brand. Our pieces fit together well. My autistic son has no problem interacting socially and we enjoy being involved in his play with set, as well as my others. It's a wonderful moment to step into a room and see not one, or two, but all your children age 6-25 in the floor lovingly & laughlingy playing together with Duplo. Even sometimes Dad included and possibly the family pet. That alone makes for a truly awesome product. One that brings the family together is worth it's weight in gold!

I did not give this toy an overall good rating because it is very upsetting to see this toy has gone up in price. It is three times more than it was a year ago. I can only say, "Are you selling toys to kids or are you tring to gouge us with the cost." Sadly my kid will not be getting this for Christmas this year. We can not afford that price. So agian, Shame on YOU Amazon.
If any parent reads this, don't buy it. They did not need to raise the price that high. A year ago and I wish I would had bought it then, the price was $40.00 dollars. I even thought that was high.

My 5 year old grandson and I are having a blast with this toy. My grandson recognized the three different types of dinosaurs and knew which food they each wanted to eat (plants, fish, meat), so it looks like somebody did some research in creating this set. The educational value is limited, however, by the fact that the toy includes "cavemen" with a cave, canoe, spears, a log bridge, clothes and a fire. Clearly, these guys belong in another set, since dinosaurs and humans were separated in time by millions of years. This doesn't stop me from recommending the set, which really is a lot of fun with interesting details and that great Lego quality, but I hope caregivers who buy this take the opportunity to do a little educating of their own.

I THOUGHT THIS WAS GREAT. I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY GRANDSON WHO LOVES LEGOS/DUPLO AND DINOSAURS. HE LOVED THIS PRODUCT, AND SINCE HE HAS OTHER LEGO/DUPLO BRICK BOXES, HE COULD EXPAND THIS AND STILL BE PLAYING WITH DINOSAURS. THANKS, GREAT PRICE ALSO FROM THIS VENDOR. I TRADED UP FROM A LESSOR SET BECAUSE OF PRICE ON THIS ONE. AM HAPPY WITH PURCHASE.
