We purchased the Lego Pirates Brickbeard's Bounty for our son who is an avid Pirate! He has other pirate ships by Fisher Price and Mega Blocks. The Lego Pirate ship is his favorite with all of the accessory pieces. We thought at 6yrs old that my husband would have to build the ship but surprisingly he did most of it himself. I originally thought it was a lot of $$ but after receiving the item it is well worth the price.

Bought on sale down the street. Don't buy overpriced...It's nice, but just a toy. My daughter wanted mermaid piece that comes in it, but she ended up loving entire set along with her older brother. It got them off video games (for awhile, anyway). Only wish that Lego would have included 2 more cannons to fill the holes on deck. Boat is impressive with little details like treasure map, monkey, mouse, parrot, barrel of swords, shark (that can swallow entire minifigure), pretty damsel, rowboat, treasure, etc. were appreciated.

Having put together the Imperial Flagship i am finding that a lot of the same techniques are used here also. a lot of the same minifigs are here too. The "admirals daughter" is white this time and not blue. Brickbeard is different in color also. This time though you get a MONKEY and a banana. way cool minifig.

Overall this is a good ship but i recomend doing this one before th flagship. having less the half the parts of the flagship you moght find this a little TOO easy. still, it's a lot of fun just having the lego model to build and it's REALLY cool having it over your mantel or bookshelf

We bought this for our 7 1/2 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. Like all Lego, it really inspires imaginative play (which is fun to listen to from the next room!) My husband enjoyed helping her put it together for the first time (I think he had just as much fun as she did!) Very detailed, right down to the treasure and the crows nest / mast net. The shark is hilarious! I recommend this toy without res"ARR"vation.

This lego ship is pretty dang cool. I collect lego ships and this is a nice addition to my collection. Was a good price too.

My 6-year-old grandson enjoyed building this ship. It, too, is somewhat fragile; the back of the ship (cabin) falls off easily, making it hard to play with it.

The pirate ship is amazing! There was some damage on the box, so I had been doubtful of whether all the pieces would be there, but I did not hear any such things from my siblings when they built it, so all is fine. Of all the pirate LEGO sets, this one is, by far, the coolest!

We gave our grandson the Pirate Ship and he has gotten up early for school Every day so he can work on it. He just loves it. If you want a successful present, this is it!!

Great toy, not only the kids spend quality time building but it is actually a very good looking toy.

We could not find the LEGO set locally as it is an older version of pirates and ship. Happy to find it available through Amazon at Victoria-GamesToys. The order was shipped promptly and received at the address I requested it sent to without any problems. I am very pleased with the service and prices at Victoria-GamesToys.
