I bought this for my 7yo so we could build a Wall-E together. We had a blast combining the pieces of this set (the tracks were the primary reason I bought it) with our other sets to build Wall-E out of LEGOs.

My 9 year old really wanted 'City' lego sets for his birthday. He has a collection of lego trucks and machinery. It's a good looking dozer. He enjoys it.

This was a gift for my 5 year old nephew and it was a big hit. He really enjoyed both building it and playing with it - it has several movable part - the tracks, the front of the scoop, etc.

before buying, I saw all the comments they made on the product, and after an analysis comperable with other toys I decided on this as it lay provides hours of enjoyment and fun for children in a healthy hambientes which develops the skills space in children.
assembly of the fun I was quick about 2 hours, ubiese Durace wanted the same but to provide added pleasure of armed, but full on 100% of the same expectations.
My son spends hours playing with it and with your feet apart creating variants.

Saw it in the Lego Store at Disneyland, they were out. Everywhere else online the cost was double. Discontinued by Lego, get one while you can!

Bought this for my 6 year-old son. He loves it! The instructions are detailed and thorough enough that my son was able to assemble 98% of the dozer without my assistance. The parts are organized into different bags to help make assembly more organized and easy. Amazing amount of detail on this toy...the tracks move easily and the blade moves up and down...very cool!

Now THIS is a Dozer! It's just so fun to start out with one of something and create your own Dozer and watch it work!

I bought this for my son as a late Christmas present. It took almost a month to get! Not sure what the hold up was since we had to pre order the item, but my son was thirlled when it finally arrived. My son is just shy of 7 and he had this built within an hour by himself. I think Legos are great for kids, especially for ones who love building things! The mess is easy to pick up (throwing a couple of bags and maybe the box away) which makes it even better :-)

I do not understand the positive reviews for this Lego set. Unless the set is to be placed on the shelf immediately after it is built, the playability of the model is poor. Unless you hold the pieces that connect the shovel to the model each time you lower or raise the shovel, one of the sides that attach the shovel will disconnect from the model after a few times the shovel is moved. Connecting the shovel back to the model was an exercise in frustration as both sides that connect the shovel to the model may have to be disconnected in order that the reconnection is successful. Given the difficulty that I experienced as an adult, I think a child would find this even more frustrating. The operator cabin is also poorly designed as the front window and roof are only held together by a few studs.

Since this set is no longer in production, I would not suggest that it be purchased at inflated prices. I would suggest buying it for the parts if the price is attractive.

I'm really quite surprised by all the reviews giving this model high marks for durability. My 6 year old has quite an impressive lego city collection including all the construction models. I'd say this one ranks very near the bottom of the list in terms of playability. Don;t get me wrong, it's a fun project and the parts are extra cool for self-builds, but the dozer model falls apart with anything more than display shelf operation and is hard to hold together in the final stages of assembly.
