My Grandson received this for his birthday and had it assembled before bedtime and absolutely loves it. He has taken over the dining room table with his Legos and plays with them before school and as soon as he finishes his homework. It was a great investment on our part just for the educational value. He takes it apart and rebuilds it in different configurations using his other Legos and you never know what it will look like when he's finished. Thanks, and if the prices could be a little lower, we would be buying more of them.

This is a really fun LEGO toy. We gave this to our grandson for his 6th birthday. He has wanted this for over a year now and had been saving his own money to buy this toy. He was thrilled when this given this gift and got up at 5:30 a.m. Saturday morning to begin putting the boat together. He has always been dexterous from the time he was buckling the plastic buckle on his high chair, so putting LEGOs together is fun for him. The toy is created nicely with many details. There is a mini "hospital" to treat people who are rescued from the Coast Guard Boat. There is a raft to go out to sea to rescue them. There is also a dock and tower that are built separately. The toy includes many items that would actually be on a rescue boat. The new LEGOS are very imaginative and some of the items are quite small. The current LEGO toys show detailed instructions in pictures step-by-step, as opposed to the LEGOS of 30+ years ago. I did not get a chance to play with the toy myself, but Grandma Barbie and Poppie really enjoyed the BIG SMILES as our grandson enjoyed this toy. It encourages imagination as well.

My grandson asked specifically for this particular set...he was thrilled when he opened it... he then sat for the next hour or so with his cousin and worked on it continuously...it turned out very impressive.

This was an easy choice. Our grandson asked for Santa to bring this toy. Unlike most Christmas gifts that receive 15 minutes of attention, then oin to something else, Lee focused on this toy for hours at a time. And returned to it hours later. Definitely a Keeper!

Got this for my 12 year old son for Christmas and he was putting it all together that evening! He played with it steadily for the next week. He loves Legos and I think this stimulated his sense of adventure and fits in well with his other LEGOS. Good Product. Recommended.

I bought this for my 10 year old brother, he loves legos. He likes it alot, and enjoyed building it. This is a good price based on others I've seen. It's pretty durable, but it is legos they do come apart...
Overall, he loves it 5/5 stars.

I purchased this set for my five year old. He enjoys playing with it in the bath and loves the shark and the little raft that comes with it. He doesn't play with the light house because it keeps coming apart. It frustrates him that the roof keeps coming off.

When I ask him if he enjoys it and he enthusiastically says yes!

Four Stars

I got this for my 7 year old son at Christmas, and I didn't realize how complex these things are! Lots of itsy bitsy parts! He managed to do it, and it kept him engrossed for a while. He has now torn it apart twice and rebuilt it. It is a great tool in teaching how to follow directions and paying attention to detail. I do not recommend this for a child younger than 7 though. It could get very frustrating. This isn't just a set of Legos.
