LEGO DUPLO Dinosaur Set

This set is awesome! We've purchased quite a few duplo products and decided to spring for a Nilo lego table this year for christmas for my 2.5 year son and got this set to go with that. He absolutely loves all of the dinosaur babies and the Mommas and Papas that go with them(It comes with 2 adult apatosaurus[long neck] dinos with 2 lighter colored offspring, 2 adult triceratop dinos with 2 lighter colored offspring, 2 pteranodons with 2 offspring, and 2 troodons[medium sized raptors]). The set comes with plenty of green(2 different shades), some tan, some grey and many blue blocks. It also comes with 2 large green base plates and 1 tan base plate. I also really appreciated the many flat blocks that were provided in varying lengths/colors that make it really easy to create seamless landscapes for my son to play with. There are also many botanical blocks included(3 flexible "strings" of leaves, multiple tree canopies and tree trunk blocks, and a variety of flower blocks in red, yellow, orange, and green. He also got the LEGO® DUPLO® Bricks & More Deluxe Brick Box 5507 from a grandparent and between the 2 sets there are enough blocks to create a good sized brick river and 2 multilevel islands(made with the baseplates). I'll try to remember to catch a picture next time I set up something for him. My only complaint was that there were no baby raptors included and that I would need to buy an additional set to get the t-rex. That being said the dinosaurs included are large and very delightful to look at and play with and there are more than enough(quantity-wise) for multiple children to enjoy at one time.

These just arrived a few days ago, and my 2 1/2 year old daughter LOVES them. She wants to play with her 'dino-horse' constantly, and even wants to take one to bed with her.

It's Duplo! How can you go wrong?? The dinosaurs are super cute tho', a worthy addition to the collection, and the 'palm' trees are a lot of fun as well.

There's not much more to say - if your kidlet is into Duplo (and let's face it, who isn't??) or dinosaurs, or both, go for it!!

My son loves these dinosaur blocks and he can play them for a very long period of time. Too bad this particular model has been discontinued. Duplo is great for young toddlers!

This lego set is perfect for the younger set. My 20 month old grandson loves it! It is sturdy and large enough that no worries about swallowing pieces.
