This is another great set from lego. It has 4 new pieces and 8 recolored pieces(I am not sure about the feet). The new pieces are the head, mask, and hands. The head is a socket piece and the attachment point is at the top of the head instead of at the mouth. This head is a bit smaller than the heads on previous sets so putting on older masks will look odd. This set has 3 shades of blue plus the golden weapons. These golden weapons only match with Glatorian Tarix though. Overall it is great and I recommend this set to anyone.

It is of a great entertainment value. Kids do not get bored playing with it. Word of caution. Keep it for the right ages, it has small pieces, small children can easily choke on them!! But if playing safely it is s great toy, especial for children who want to collect them.

An eccentric outsider, Berix is basically good-hearted. He's learned to survive by scavenging and making use of various bits of equipment he has salvaged. He's also stealthy, and able to figure out how various gadgets work together. Unfortunately, he's disliked by other villagers and Glatorians, who mistake his scavenging for thievery.

Our Son loves all Bionicles. And if you have seen the new Hero Factory that replaces the Bionicle brand, you have seen it's the exact same product with compatible parts and is still a character based series with a similar look. So I don't know why they bothered changing the name. This is a fun character and worth getting.

Our 6 year old Grandson absolutely loves all LEGO building sets, but in particular Bionicles. As an observer, these hold up much better than the building sets with tiny figures and pieces. They do fall apart when in battle, but he enjoys them enough to put them back together again each time. And all LEGO sets have educational value if the child follows the directions and puts them together.

My son loved putting this together...has fun playing with this and his other bionicles.
