I cant wait until Lego sells Lego Batman and Lego Avatar again. Then these money hungry toy collectors will be stuck with their overpriced child toys... They are for kids people not for you to hoard and try to squeeze as much profit as you possibly can!

What a fantastic toy! My daughter received it for her 7th birthday and she and I had great fun putting it together. It took her days to complete it and she was so proud of her accomplishment. It is a LOT of work. I think the average 8 or 9 year old probably could do it with little help from an adult or older sibling. I needed to help my daughter find some of the pieces, but she did all of the assembly herself. Also, much like the SpongeBob Legos, the best part is that after it is finished you can play with it and make up Avatar adventures. At some point we will disassemble ther whole thing and then in a month or mroe she can put it together all over again as we have done with the SpongeBob Legos. A great set for any Lego fan.

this has cool minifigs. An ultimate for avatar fans. Also be on the lookout for avatar figures and cards too! This set includes the ultra rare firebending soldier.

My son and I are half way finished putting it together. Great to play with already. My only issue, as i mentioned at the Lego site, is that the pictures in the directions are pretty dark, particularly with lots of small grey and black pieces. That made it somewhat difficult to assemble.

Great instructions (lego really is top-notch on their assembly directions), cool characters (you get Aang, Katara, Zuko, and a fire soldier and a fire bender), and a ship that is much cooler than it looks on the box. Things my son liked about the ship were the catapult, the jail, the mini-ship that can be launched out of the bottom of the fire nation ship, and the engine room below the floor of the ship.

I think Amazon should add another option to rate value for your money. As cool as it is, I'm not sure it's eighty bucks cool, and I'd probably give it a 3.5 star or 4.0 for value.

We bought this Lego set for my 9 year old son for Christmas and he spent over 4 hours putting it together in his room- he chose this over the Wii we had bought as well! He did it by himself by looking at the picture instructions. Worth it!
