1.0 out of 5 stars BARGAIN BIN June 28, 2012
Platform for Display:PlayStation Vita
Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
First let me say I gave the game a 3 for fun and a 1 for overall score why? because for someone who is unaware of the 3ds port mostly children/uniformed casual gamers will somewhat enjoy it, it's a lego game with the same formula as previous lego games. But here is why to me after playing the game myself that this game warrant's a 1 star.
1. 3ds port! This pisses me off for $39.99 at this price we should get either a unique exclusive PS ViTA version or what mostly everyone with a ViTA wanted a console port. It's a spit in the face to ViTA owners honestly.
2. Shameless 240p youtube video quality cutscenes this reeks of laziness no respect for the consumer/fanbase developers! No optimization just port the crap over and get some added revenue, just sickening especially considering how easy the ViTA is to develop/port for.
3. Tiny levels with no more than 5-6 lego's on screen what kind of bullsh~t is this? the ViTA has more RAM than the PS3&360. But this goes right back to being a 3ds port again limited RAM limited lego's,objects on screen at a time.
4. Poor audio quality had to fully turn up the volume on ViTA to hear the voices which only talk during cutscenes not in-game, that was very disappointing as it would be good to hear them talk during the game itself.
5. Copy-Paste move sets make playing other characters pointless another sign of lazy uninspired DEVS.
6. DC characters are gradually brought in and playable at the end of the game once again Batman and Robin are the main focus through the story. This can be a negative if you wanted a heavy dose of DC gameplay.
7. Lack of replayability yes there's challenges but not really fun for young children and these challenges are character specific you can't choose your favorite and yes it's mostly Batman involved.

2.0 out of 5 stars A Cheaply made 3DS port September 12, 2012
Platform for Display:PlayStation Vita|Verified Purchase
Fun: 2.0 out of 5 stars
I bought the original lego star wars saga on the psp, and it was 100x better than this junk. These controls are clunky, the worlds are small, the graphics are blurry, and it froze and glitched on me multiple times. Overall a complete disappointment, after the first set of levels I couldn't stand it anymore.

If you can get this for $10-15 than it might be worth it as a time waster. But otherwise get the console version which is an amazing addition to the lego game brand.

1.0 out of 5 stars half featured game, lazy port, but full price! June 19, 2012

Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
I can't believe telltales games is releasing the game like this on the vita, I've been waiting for this game to come out and then I learn that it's only a 3ds port! Still they ask 40 bucks out of this, no less, even on the PS store. The hardware is way more than capable for handling this kind of game, anyone that has seen uncharted or wipeout knows it, there's even already an open world game like gravity rush that works beautifully, however they instead remove the defining feature of this game, the open world. Without that it's just the same lego game we've already played a million times, no thanks.

1.0 out of 5 stars I Can't Seem To Focus On This Game July 14, 2012
By Sesho
Platform for Display:PlayStation Vita
Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
I intially played the demo for this game on the Nintendo 3DS and stupidly assumed it would be even better on Playstation Vita. Boy, was I wrong. First up, the cutscenes are blurry. Last up, the cutscenes are blurry. What century are we living in? You could go back and watch cutscenes from NES and they are at least FOCUSED. It made me so angry that I had wasted $40 on the game and couldn't return it. There were so many other Vita games I could have gotten. I trusted the franchise, the developers, and the publisher. I wrote Traveller's Tales about the game, stating that I would never buy another Lego videogame and received no response. Also never got any response from Warner Bros. In my mind, this game is defective. The sound FX in the game are horrible as well. The ONLY good thing about the game is the music, which seems to be of the same quality as the console versions. If you want a portable version of this game, definitely go with the 3DS version. I traded the Lego Batman 2 during Gamestop's +50% trade in special and got $21 for it. Not so bad considering it's going for $30 new. Put the credit down on Rhythm Thief & The Emperor's Treasure, an excellent game, which is in so many way the polar opposite of this lame port. Stay away from Lego Batman 2 on Vita. I have never in my gaming life experienced BLURRINESS. Poor graphics. Yes. But not blurriness.

2.0 out of 5 stars Could have been great July 11, 2012

Port of 3ds version, the levels seem small compared to the console version and the cut scene graphics are inexcusibly grainy

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay game, would have been better without DS port... January 18, 2014
By SFA
Platform for Display:PlayStation Vita
I hate to write a negative sounding review for a Vita game, a system I really love.
This is a port, not of the PS3/360 version, but of the far inferior 3DS version. I don't now why, the Vita can handle so much more. It's a shame that the developer took the cheapest way out.
That said, this means that most of the glitches and annoyances from the 3DS version have carried over. I don't know if you've ever played a Lego game on a DS but it is a pain in the behind. While it's not as frustrating on the Vita, it's still annoying to have the inferior port.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's fun, but don't expect the console experience June 18, 2013
Platform for Display:PlayStation Vita|Verified Purchase
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
Look, if you want the console experience on this game, then go buy it for the PS3 / 360. If you are looking for a quick pick up and put down when you need it Batman experience this is a great game.

This game is made for parents who want to give their kids something to do for 5 minutes to get them off their back, or us grown ups who like the idea of putting green lanterns head on Harley Quinn's body :)

It is a fun game, the content that it provides is satisfying, and while I did expect or want more, I was happy with what I received in a portable format.
