If you have a Lego and Batman fan in your house, buy this book now! The minifigre is super cute of Batman's electric suit and the contents of the book are outstanding. The book features very detailed pictures of all the sets and figures since 2006 to present. There is also cross section pictures of the vehicles so young builders might be able to get some ideas on the building process. Plus there is a huge comic book style story in the middle with fantastic photos of the figures and scenes. The pictures are outstanding and so clear and detailed. There is also a section on how the video game was made. Basically anything related to Lego Batman is in this book. I cannot wait to give it as a gift!!!!!

I bought this for my 9 year old brother and I was very impressed with it! It shipped super quick and the graphics were AWESOME! It totally went above and beyond my expectations and it tells you about all the DC superheros not only Batman. It came with a free lego too so that was a bonus! I was just so impressed and he absolutely loved it so since my lil guy is happy, I'm more than happy:) Big sis nailed it!

This book is amazingly well done. I am extremely happy about what they did with it. Since they didn't have as many LEGO products done in the Batman theme I was worried it would be small and filled with boring information that could be found in fifteen seconds on a google search. The mini figure was wonderfully done. They put in the new Bat-cowl, and they did a good job with it. They thinned out the piece so that it looks better and looks like it could function as a mask/helmet unlike the previous one which seemed too bulky. For collectors and anyone else who wants to know, Batman has arm, leg, back, and cowl printing. This is an astonishing book and is suggested for all Batman or Lego fans.

We have several of the DK Lego books and all are great. The batman one is no exception. Excellent photos and details about the various sets and figures. At 95 pages long it isn't lengthy but the pages are large and the illustrations detailed and brightly colored. There is a considerable amount of verbiage on each page too so if you have a young reader rest assured they aren't just getting a picture book. My 8 year old has spent at least a half hour per day with this book since getting it over two weeks ago and often longer than that. Yes it is late September and his christmas list is done and on the fridge, filled with about half the sets in this book. I'm ok with that because I know he is actually reading it as well, as I have now heard every small factoid about every set since made since 2006.

If you have a young person who likes Legos than you cannot go wrong with these books. All of ours have stood the test of time and Amazon usually has them priced extremely well.

My 7 yr old son loves this book. He has recently become a batman fan. He reads and looks at this book everyday. The only bad thing about this book and him being so young is they have pictures and listing of older lego sets. Showing all batman Legos that have been made and that is great if you are not a 7 yr old that does not understand completely these sets are not able to be bought because they are no longer made and are collectors items now. Other wise the book is fantastic!

My son is a lego nut! He loves the action figures most of all. He has a wonderful time playing with all of the lego characters. This book was a great way for him to look at all the characters he loves.

These books truly just show you the different sets that have been offered in the series over the years. However, it's done creatively, and if you have a young guy or gal who is into cataloging things (like mine is), you'll find him/her pouring over this book again and again. This is a cute book series, and the bonus figure makes the price a little more worth it.

While this does mostly cover Batman himself, other things are not ignored, either entirely or partially. And when you've got the Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and others together, you know this isn't just about Batman.

It's about the whole DC Universe in general.

Most of the pages, however, do have a spotlight on Batman and his Boy Wonder sidekick, Robin. Detailed photos and different views of the sets and minifigures are astounding (as usual) and also includes facts that may not have been known or noticed: one thing is that the Bat-Blade's skiis on its sides were originally weapons for BIONICLE's Kopaka Nuva figure. THAT one I noticed right away.

And what DC world is complete without the villains who oppose the law? They are also explored in detail, even the ones in the LEGO Batman games that didn't have an official minifigure (right then). Such as Clayface, Mad Hatter, Man-Bat, and others too numerous to mention in such amount of time.

Turn several pages over, and you will see the whole DC Universe... sort of. Some characters from later periods, such as Aquaman, didn't appear in the book, but was made in 2013. (Keep in mind that this review is written in 2014, and that some characters have yet to see a minifigure debut.)

Anyway, a must-have for the Batman, LEGO, or LEGO Batman fan.
