To start off I have liked Bionicle since the very beginning, so I know a thing or two about it.In a short summary of this toy, I think it is very cool. I just have one pet peeve, not making the toy any better or worse, but, doesn't it seem funny that as the Bionicle storyline goes back in time, the technology gets better? Oh well. But this is a very good product. The age range for this toy should be 5+ instead of 7+, since it was my 5 year old nephew who showed me the toys, and he built them flawlessly by himself. Vakama the fire Metru-Toa, is a very wise Toa. This toy is totally poseable, and very fun. Along with fun, Bionicle Toa Vakama is very durable. I couldn't begin to count the number of times I have dropped this, and it still holds together. Finally, the education value on this toy is good, because it shows you how to follow directions, build, and have fun. So if you are a bionicle fan, or are bored and have extra cash on hand, pick up this, or one of the other Toa-Metru.

Vakama is cool fast and leader of the Toa Metru. Vakama is a very fun toy. It is extremley durabule and can teach kids to folow picture instuctions (witch if you go to an Arlington Public School you will learn this anyway) Hint: Toa Hordika new seiries coming in December. With Toa Hordika coming discontinuation of Vakama and other toa mtru will follow so by it now!!

We have resisted buying these because they seemed so cheap...also the usual question we parents always ask ourselves..."What are they going to do with them?"

Our son received his first bionicle from a friend on his ninth birthday...it was cleverly the "bow" on a birthday present. I now regret overlooking this wonderful line of "lego's" for so long! My boys love these! They have the best time building them and an even better time playing with them.

They are priced reasonably so you can always pick-up one as a treat during trips out "shopping". If you encourage your children to "save-up" for some of their "wants", the cost of these is low enough that it doesn't take them months and months to realize their goal.

Please do not make the same mistake I made and misjudge these toys. You will be denying your child a great experience.

Although the manufacturer suggests ages 7 and up, I do not feel a child younger than 8 or 9 would be able to indendently put this toy together. My 7 year old needs some help putting these together, but he loves to try all by himself. That is the point of Lego's, to construct and play. The primary benefit, in my opinion, is the satisfaction of "doing it" yourself!

This bionicle is awesome!!! I have many sets and am getting the new vahki from lego magazine. This toy is fun because you can shoot your other bionicles, you can make your on little story, and other stuff. It is educational because you need to use your head to build it. It is durable but if it drops or something some pieces could fall off but it is still pretty durable. Over all I think this set is one of the best there is, but stay tuned... the Vahki are COMING!!!!!

mnay people say that building things takes a lot of hard work and lots of brains lego is almost the same thing first you have to use your BRAIN to make the thing second after the toy is finished you could play and play does mean to have fun with a toy or game making this bionicle also takes patience which parents likes in children and concentration which parents also like so if your parent or your self thinks this is a good toy your wrong its an AWSOME toy

My cousin and i really enjoy lego. It is educational cause u have to be paticant if u r young(like my cousin) and it teaches u to USE ur mind think of things to make up with them ( by them i mean legos) combine them to make 1 or more things. And the look on there face when the finish constructing them is PRICELESS. They r very very worth the money and efort to press the add to card button hehehe.

Vakama is very cool.You must get him!He wears the Great Mask of Concelment and comes with a kanoka disk!

Ok for all of you who are confused 'bout this bionicle era, let me give u da scoop. This toy is super trusty in bendability. I swear, this thing can bend into any shape!( well, not every shape, but you get the point:))and the coolest part is, that you can combine all of the toys in this era of bionicle to form two awesome creatures.

When I bought Vakama It had a cool Toa Disk, a mask of concellment and a new Bionicle body! If you have bought only 2003 toys buy himm and his 5 companions.
