This is a great light. I bought one for each of my sons, and we used double-sided foam tape (not included) to stick them to their bed-posts. There are holes in the base so that you can mount it with screws, but screws oddly were not included. Anyway, the boys can read by the lights at night, and then remove them from the base to use as a flashlight if they get up in the night time. Batteries last a long time in them, too. And, if you use rechargeables, it doesn't matter if they accidentally leave them on.
The best thing about these lights is that they are huge Lego pieces, and that they connect to the base like real Lego blocks! Too cool!

I bought this as a present for my 5 year old nephew. He is absolutely obsessed with Legos, so I couldn't pass these up when I saw them. The come ready-to-use, with batteries already installed. Even though they are on the smaller side, the light is pretty bright. From the pictures I originally thought they would be larger, but they are only about a 3 inch square. Overall, I would highly recommend them. It's great for a night light in the bedroom or bathroom. My nephew also likes to use them when he builds blanket forts.

This little light is super bright. It has slots on the back to accomodate mounting the base with screws or nails, we chose not to. I wanted to mount it with 3G moutning strips, but the back isn't flat to do that. The Lego symbol in the center is the on/off switch so it acts like a touch light. My 5 year old son absolutely loves this light, he's a lego and flashlight fan and this fit right in. Night time trips to the bathroom are much easier for him now, he just takes his night light. Cool little light all the way around and very durable.

My son loves the light. He reads at bedtime using it. We mounted it to his headboard with velcro so he could take it on our last vacation. My son said it lights up the inside of his blanket forts great!

to cute for any boy or girl ... large lego LED light that comes off and you can take anywhere!! would buy well worth the price great buy!!!

This is a great little light for a toddler's bedside. It has a sitch on the bottom that changes from constant on to momentary when you press the front button, so I can do constant, read a book and then change it to momentary after I leave so I know the battery wont die. Its a great little light. I used 3m vhb tape instead of screws to attach the plate, and that worked well.

I would not call this a toy really. But maybe kids would. I got this for my son to have something to use in the middle of the night for those late night trips to the rest room. It is bright and portable since it is battery powered. U can hang it if u want to but we chose not to. It works great. Just stock up on batteries. My son tends to fall back to sleep with it in so we r going through many batteries

Disappointed with Amazon. I thought I was going to get the Blue one, I was wrong. My fault, "colors vary". We got Red, does not match the room. Spend more at local store and get the color you want. Otherwise works as it should.
