A great Lego model that ticks all the boxes, my 6 year old niece loves this model and never tires from trying to put together, that said she has needed assistance on occasion - while some say these items are purely a toy, I believe that it teaches a child to translate information from paper into a 3D shape, the color coding also enhances a child's ability for him or her to learn. All in all I would recommend this item.

The set contains one minifigure who wears an all blue suit as well as a cap ontop.
The main element of the set is a medium sized transport van which has a seat at the front as well as a storage area at the back and a radar like device on top.
Also included in this set are a satelite which is ok but a little bit flimsy. There is also a desk for the man to work on with a computer while doing experiments or work.
The final part of the set is a mini rocket launch pad which hasa small, ish rocket on there which has a support structure which can easily retract away from the rocket for it to launch.
Play experience wise it's not the best or worse city set but certainly has some things to keep entertaing. The figure can launch the rocket and then launch the satelite and then drive way. I would estimate the average play duration would be 15-25 minutes.
Value wise , not too bad quite a fair amount included for the price tag. In comparison to the slightly earlier released prisoner transport at the same price the set size is very similar.
In summary this set is very good and I would recomend buying this as well as getting some of the other space sets to accompany it.

My 5-year old grandson just loves this! he constantly assembles and disassembles it and plays like he is communicating from space all the time. He even walks around with just the satellite dish by itself and pretends he is talking to people! And he loves the little driver-guy!

Good set, like all lego sets, but there is a problem: there's no way the included rocket has the delta-v to get that satellite to orbit. I mean seriously. 9km/s + to get to low orbit, and add another 2 km/s + to get to geostationary orbit (hey, this is a communication satellite, right?). There's no chance this thing has 11 km/s. At least that's what my 5 year old says.

Easy to put together but a couple small pieces broke. My kid uses it for pieces and the rocket now.

for some reason I thought the rocket was going to be much bigger than it really is, but our son was satisfied.
