Kindergarten has brought with it some grumpy early mornings. Mom usually getting the brunt of it when having to wake up kids. Time for alarm clocks. This one was for my son and he was so excited and has remained a fan of it--even though it wakes him up! Great product, clock face with hands is helping learn time the "hard" way instead of digital and it came with some lego star wars stuff to assemble, including chewbacca and a clone trooper. I think those two little mini figures alone made this a winner for my kid. Would make a great gift to a fan or first alarm clock for a child who is learning to love the star wars world.

The clock is only (approximately) 4"x4" plus the 'turret' and figures on top. I expected it to be bigger - there were no diminsions given in the product details, only that it weighed 2#. There are only a few lego pieces to assemble. I purchased this kit more for lego-building - the clock and as an addition to Star Wars collection were to be added perks. I don't feel real perky about the purchase. But, as the review title reads: 'Let the buyer not assume'...

I bought this for my son who is an avid Star Wars fan, and he loves the clock, but I'm stumped as to how to disable the alarm feature. If that could be accomplished, I'd give it 5 stars, as otherwise, it's a great clock for fans who are also learning how to tell time.
