This is one sweet Lego set. I've watched a few videos online to see what it was all about and can say that it's even more amazing than I thought now that I actually have it. I even kind of feel guilty for buying it knowing that I in a way have deprived some kid from the joy of building and ultimately playing with it. It's pretty awesome. I'm going to let my inner child out a little and have some fun though. I'm eyeing some mini figs that could use a missle up side the head. It was extremely fun to build and pretty easy as with every Lego set I have ever bought.
I love the whole 'vehicle shaped like the driver' thing going on with the Chima sets. This is the first I have bought from this series and I chose this one because I like the look of the eagle vehicles... As I was writing that last line the UPS guy just delivered the Eagle Interceptor which is the jet vehicle. YES!! Anyway this is the tank and in my opinion when viewing it a certain way looks like an eagle swooping in for the kill. I think it's how the talons were designed and positioned that make me think this way. I love the look of this thing. The playability is really great too. As I said it has missles and not just one but two! And it's not the flick missles. These are the strong spring loaded ones. Just push the red button and ssss kaboom! The wings that they are attached to are adjustable as well. You can of course push it along on its tank treads and its one rubber wheel. Having this one rubber wheel in the back sets it apart from any other tank design I have ever seen. Well that and of course the whole looking like an eagle thing. Also when you push the red button above the big wheel at the back of the tank the cockpit will be ejected (quite easily I must say)from the front of the tank.

This is an excellent set for any LEGO fan. The set is great overall, but the things that make it cool are the minifigs, design, and the play features.

First, the minifigs. The minifigs included are great, it comes with three of them: Equila (Obviously, since the vehicle is his) Eglor, and Wilhurt. Equila and Eglor are eagles that are trying to protect the CHI crystals that animal tribes are fighting over in the story of this LEGO theme, and Wilhurt is a wolf that is aiming to steal their CHI. Though Equila can be found in a few other sets, Eglor and Wilhurt are currently exclusive to this set (Though they will be released in later sets). All of the minifigs are designed well, and their heads are double-printed, one facial feature for each side. However, from what you see when the animal head is put on, the eyes are the only difference, but the faces are still a nice touch. The minifigs come with their own individual weapons, and the coolest part is that Equila and Eglor have posable, well-sized wings that are placed on the studs on the back of their CHI harnesses. However, this means that you cannot have the minifigures without the harness and keep the wings for a, "Casual," feeling to your minifigs without making moderations, but it doesn't bother me that much and I don't see how it affects them that much.

Now, the design of the set. The vehicle is designed in somewhat the form of an eagle. You can make out feathers, a head, a beak, and even some talons in the front, which are posable all except for the middle talon. The vehicle uses tracks to maneuver as can be seen on the box, and though they're not my preference for LEGO vehicles, they move well and they give the set a nice look.

I'm a big fan of LEGO-Chima . I bought this product yesterday. I had seenvideo- reviews of this on the net and so I bought this. But when I finished assembling it..I looked WAY better than I thought it would!! I am IMMENSELY happy with this! This set is simply Beautiful...maybe one of the best CHIMA sets (currently).
I'll start with the minifigs. This set contains two Eagle tribe minifigs (Eglor and Equila) and one wolf tribe minifig (Wilhurt). Eglor, from the Eagle tribe, is currently exclusive to this set.Equila is I guess the most common Eagle minifig in Chima. The eagle minifigs are just..Awesome! The details and markings on them are lovely. The headpiece (of both Eglor and Equila) are amazing! Eglor is only eagle tribe member who's blue in color, others are white. But his wings are white though. Eglor carries a spear and Equila carries one assembled-weapon which looks cool. It is a combination of a sword and a light-saber piece.
(Eglor has a greenish beak but on the box and in the instruction manual, it's shown as yellow! So one minor goof-up from LEGO there.)
Wilhurt is the only wolf-tribe member to be in black color (others are grey). He looks great..only thing is, his headpiece doesn't have any markings like the other wolf headpiece but it's no big the minifig looks amazing anyway! Wilhurt carries a cool-looking black axe.
Now coming to the star attraction, the Ultra-striker. As I said, looks Fantastic. A very creative design. Two big treads in the front (one on each side) and one big wheel on the back. The front portion of the vehicle looks just like an eagle's head. This "head" is detachable and can be used as a small flying vehicle in itself, which is cool. The vehicle has two "arms" which can move up and down a bit.
