This set contains the Eagle Legend Beast and the Eris minifig from the eagle tribe.
I'll start with the minifig. Eris is an awesome-looking minifig! Nice printing on her torso (back and front). But her shoulder armor unfortunately covers most of the printing. And you can't remove her shoulder armor also because it contains the wings. I feel LEGO should have designed the Eagle (and raven) minifigs better so the wings come attached as part of their torso. It's really irritating that you have attach wings separately. There's nice printing on the legs also. (Sadly no printing on the side of the torso or side of the legs...as is the case with MOST of the LEGO minifigs). The headpiece is the best part. It looks great. But one complaint here is that, the headpiece should have been a single complete piece (like the headpiece in the Ninja Turtles minifigs). Here it's like you first fix the regular circular LEGO head and then you put the face of the animal (like a helmet) over the head. Anyway, at least the minifig looks good and I guess that's what matters in the end.
Eris carries one assembled weapon which is just about ok. And one transparent shield which I didn't like. It's too plain. No design. No printing on it.
Now coming to the main part of this set, the Eagle Legend Beast. Now I have seen the "Legends of Chima" cartoon show. There, the Eagle legend beast is a real eagle. Here, the eagle looks mechanical and not very organic/realistic. But still the eagle build does look quite good. There is quite a bit of flexibility in her talons and feathers so you can create quite a lot of different poses with the eagle. And the eagle legend beast looks much more realistic than the other LEGO legend beasts.

You can't go wrong with Lego! Used as a reward for my 11 y.o daughter and she loved it. Great motivation for her to focus on her goals.

My son, 8, loves all the legend beasts. They are fairly easy to put together and the best thing is they hold up to hours of play without breaking apart as some other more fragile legos do.

This is a really good set, nothing had broken and the pieces are really good for people who make there own creation (MOCs).
