Considering Lego hasn't put one of these out in years it is nice to finally get ahold of one. It was easy to put together and so far has been a lot of fun. My only gripe are the stickers. I have never been a fan of the stickers and I wish Lego would go back to printing them right on the bricks. They did this in the 1980s and I would like to see them do it again.

My four year old, garbage truck obsessed son received these legos for his birthday and loves them. He builds often with blocks, but still needed Dad's help to assemble the truck. He didn't seem to mind needing help though and the truck is really neat with moving parts.

This is a really nice garbage truck or recycle truck. The decals to me more suggest recycling vehicle. I love the technic mechanism that allows the truck container section to lift. Good play value with dolly cart, garbage can, and mini figures. Extremely nice looking model, with curved fender pieces, and fabulous realism. The main downside is the complete lack of alternate models: No alternate building instructions or pictures of alternate building ideas for this set. For augmented building value, the Creator series sets, and the older Designer series sets, are unbeatable because a fertile Idea Book always adds tremendous value to any Lego kit. Still, you got a sweet truck here.

I bought this for my six year old grandson and I to do together when he came for his sleepover. To quote Elijah while we were playing, "This is going together very nicely". We chose to assemble it over two days, but it could be done in one sitting. The instructions were very easy to follow. He probably could have done it without me, but it was fun to do together too. I thought the price was good, the value was top notch

I bought this kit for my nephew based upon the experiences I've had with the Lego's we bought for our son. My 4 year old & I put together one of the Lego fire trucks & it was a very nice little kit. One GREAT thing about Lego's is except for the occasional kit that has 1 or 2 pieces made in China the bulk of their stuff is made in Denmark, etc. I LOVE this about them!

My son loves this Garbage truck Lego. He is 5 and was able to follow the directions and put it together all by himself. Great toy.

This garbage truck was fun to put together but forget about playing with it. It has a lot of cool features that my grandsons(4 & 5 years old) wanted to play with but even when I would handle the truck, the pieces would come apart very easily. It became so frustrating that I decided to put it away and search for a better model truck for them. Maybe the Duplo Lego one would be one to look into. We have loved all the other Lego sets especially the Kings Castle series.

This was our first "big boy" lego set and my son is only three but loves trash trucks. Of course he needed help building it and his attention span didn't quite last the duration of the building project. Even when he's careful with it there are a few sections that continuously fall off, so there is a lot of maintenance involved. Still a great lego set though and I'm sure he'll enjoy it for a few more years!

I purchased the Lego City Garbage Trust-7991 and the Lego Technic Mini Tractor for my 5 year old nephew for Christmas and was pleasantly surprised at how much he enjoyed them. He played with these two toys all afternoon. Solves my problem of what to get him for birthdays and Christmas since there are so many different kits. This was one of my first purchases from Amazon, but it won't be my last. Was very pleased by the short length of time it took to receive them.

Good instructions, was built together w/my 5 year old. He plays with it often and likes shoveling the bits and putting them in the can and dumping into the truck. Only complaint is a very weak spot in the legos where the back end lifts up, constantly breaks off and was frustrating. Bought superglue for that specific area where the henge and the backend lifts. Overall, nice lego kit w/opportunity to talk about recycling and litter.
