We bought this set for our grandson. His mom and dad are volunteer firefighters. At the time he received this set, their community was having heavy rains and had to do many water rescues. Cody thought that was cool. He is 9 and was able to put two of vehicles together by himself and only needed a little guidance with the third one.

This is a very cool set. By the way it looks, you would be very intrested in it. Actually, it is!!! It is one of the best Lego sets I've ever gotten! This firetruck is also VERY huge, but that way it looks AWESOME!!! Here are now my pros and cons:
Pros-
-Fun to play with
-Goes great with any Lego city
-Comes with boat!!!
-Has doors
-Boat has fire hose!!!
-Supporting thingies on the sides of the firetruck
Cons-
-Minifigs can't fit in doors
-Whenever you lift the boat, the crane falls (without holding it)

My son and I really enjoyed putting together this set.

It includes a huge "off road fire truck," a pretty big boat,and a 4-wheeler.

The truck is mainly a flat bed with a crane that can carry the boat. It is pretty big and is the largest of all the fire trucks we have- even the ladder trucks. It is too long and too tall to fit in the fire station. If there is a weakness to the truck it is that the crane is barely able to hold the boat without coming off its base. The truck, with stabilizer legs extended is stable enough, but the crane is iffy.

The build was simple and straighforward.

My nephew and I love this set. We had great fun putting it together as part of our collection. It is really cool.
