Always delighted with LEGO....BUT!!!!.....our 7 yr olds twin grandsons had some trouble assembling the unit...and it constantly fell apart...they wanted to actually play with it and it broke apart too often...I believe it's really for an older child .....but instructions were great tho and easy to follow.......adult supervision was needed from step one thru completiong tho

I bought this set because I wanted the police officer and helicopter for my police force. This set comes with one police officer figure that has a very detailed printed head and torso; he also has a white helmet. The officer is equipped with a pair of handcuffs and a pair of binoculars. The Police Helicopter itself is a simple, but very enjoyable build and when finished it looks genuinely like a real police chopper. The helicopter has a single seat cockpit for the officer with a control panel. The chopper is equipped with two cargo containers (one on each side) for the handcuffs and binoculars. The helicopter is also outfitted with a side-mounted video camera, and a search light located under the nose. Well, here are the basics of the set:

Police helicopter was fun. My mom got this for me around her anniversary. I took it over to my friend's house and built it. However, when I move the propellers, they keep falling off. Otherwise,I reccomend this to anyone who is making a city!

I am 10 years old and this toy was easy to build. The instructions were clear. One problem the helicopter blade too large and it keeps stopping at the tail of the helicopter. There was not a piece missing. It's fun to play with and does not fall apart easily. I enjoyed it very much. I recommend it to any person. It really looks like a police helicopter.

My grandson who is 10 is overjoyed with this and the other police city sets that I got him for his birthday. They are designed to actually play with once you build them and he has had loads of fun with them. He built the police headquarters and command center and this police helicopter all in a day. He is happy and that is what counts. I would recommend this to any child who enjoys building.

The price was right. The helicopter was a little larger than I thought, which was cool. The kid loves it. It's Lego, so the quality is always excellent.

Product arrived on time and is exactly what is promised. My son spends hours focused on creating this toy, and he's only 5!!

This is a neat little helicopter. It looked like a great value for the $, and it has lived up to that expectation. We got it as a present for our 6-year-old's birthday. He absolutely loved it and has played with it tons. The chopper blades, special panels, lego handcuffs, etc. have already been put to use in numerous other children's creations. Absolutely no complaints on this purchase!

I like lego sets. This one is a new challenge from just putting together those rectangular houses. New shapes! It, too, can be assembled anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours, usually less. This cost about $11, so the price divided by total pieces was reasonable. These lego sets give a chance for dad-son bonding, talk and ask questions of each other as you're assembling it together. This police helicopter is made to be played with. It's not like some of the fancy architectural sets that are assembled and put on a display shelf. Every lego set that I've ever seen tends to fall apart. As such, if you're going to play with this helicopter, I recommend using glue on the stationary pieces (but not for pieces like rotary blades and doors) that are designed to move. I'd give this an "A-". I highly recommend it for folks building a lego city.
