Bought this set for my 7 year old Grandson. The instructions were clear and detailed and he had a great time building the truck and boat. He took the boat into the swimming pool, it floated just fine and he played with it for hours. It is unsinkable. Both the boat and the truck stayed together well despite all the handling. It is a great set.

WOW! I got this set with the Fishing Boat, and over the 2 sets, I like this a lot more!! It comes with 2 minifigs, a sweet motorboat\speedboat, a trailer for truck, and a truck. The motorboat is very detailed; it floats, it has to seats, and extra space in the back. What I just don't like are stickers. Come on Lego, please just print the "stickers" on to the piece. The Lego truck and trailer are detailed. The truck\cab has a seat inside and a coffee mug. The trailer has a life jacket carrier for 2 life jackets. has a helmet carrier for 2 helmets. It can also hold the Fishing Boat, the motorboat, and it's just the perfect size for the 2 boats. Let's speed on over to the pros and cons.
Pros:
-Big motorboat
-Nice design of boat.
-Nice truck w\trailer
-2 minifigs
Cons:
-STICKERS!!!! AGAIN!!!
-Only one seat in truck(poor other guy)
Well, even though I have cons, still get this Lego set.

I bought this for my 5 year old son as a Christmas gift. This was his first experience with the "small" Legos since we had only Duplos up to this point. I was fully assuming that my husband or myself would have to sit and assemble this with him or possibly even do it ourselves while he watched. Well, the directions were great and had only pictures, and with some minimal guidance in the beginning he was able to assemble the entire thing on his own. It kept him occupied and with all the careful attention that went into it was a great confidence builder and source of pride for him.

The truck, trailer and boat themselves are very cool. The boat actually floats in water and can be used as a tub toy. The truck had tons of tiny detail (even a coffee mug for the driver) that made it realistic. It comes with little helmets and life jackets for the Lego men and the trailer has a collapsable dollie.

All in all, a great toy!
