I am another one of those reviewers who probably loves this even more than my toddler. (And she enjoys it quite a bit!) My 2 year old and I love stocking the shelves of the little store and talking about the things we find in our own grocery store. DD pushes the cash register a lot to make it ding, but it isn't overly annoying. (And it's quiet compared to other toys.) The novelty of pushing it continuously wore off after a week and she got down to enjoying the rest of the set more anyway. (I'm actually happy that we can replace the battery on it when it inevitably wears out.) My daughter's favorite parts are the flowers, the clear blue window blocks and the shelf doors that open and close. She's always putting little figures from other toys into the tiny space. Overall, I'd say this get a lot of play and has great learning potential as we discus the supermarket and count items. It's her second favorite set (after the bus) and I would love to see Lego Duplo create another store set like this.

My son (who is 2) loves this toy but honestly I might love it more. I enjoy talking with him about our trips to the grocery store as we play with the toy- he practices saying bananas, bread, flower, cake, etc- these are all little toy versions in lego form. The little cash register makes a beeping noise that isn't too loud or annoying- my son pushes it over and over. I bought the duplo mat thing and we set it up on that. The pieces are big and easy for my toddler to manage. We bought this at the Legoland at Downtown Disney in Orlando and it was [...]- a little cheaper than here.

Selection of items rather small but adequate. Sufficiently realistic and familiar to young children - my granddaughters (ages 2 & 3) took to themLEGO DUPLOŽ LEGOVille Supermarket 5604 immediately.

I purchased this lego set awhile ago and paid $85.00 for it. My children love it so much that when the lego store finally got them in stock I paurchased an additional one for $40.00! The children enjoy putting the market together and using their building skills. Who does not have fun with legos.

I bought it for my daughter's first birthday so that my 5 year old Lego fan son wouldn't feel so left out. =) They both loved this set!
