I purchased this set for my kids (ages 2, 3, & 5) and they love it. It fits perfectly on the duplo legos and the kids really enjoy all the different nationalities. All the people's arms and legs move as well. A great compliment to the Lego Duplo Basic Bricks!

my toddler loves this set even more than the legos. she delights in carrying them around and trying to place them on top of the legos.

my only complaint is paying so much for these tiny figures, they should give us at least twice the number for the price.

These World people are an excellent addition to any duplex lego set. Children love playing with people, and this World set represents just about every type of person: both sexes, many races, hair colors, etc. Like all Lego products, they are well-made and very colorful. All in all, lots of fun!

Grandma got this set for Christmas for our 18-month-old who was just introduced to Duplo last month. He LOVES his little guys. LOVES LOVES LOVES. We always have at least one on hand when we're out and about because the sight of them calms all tantrums. It's wonderful that they are multicultural. I wouldn't call them "world" people, they look like they are all Americans of different ethnicities based on their dress (all the boys have baseball hats), but that diversity is good for us. Incidentally, the baseball hats are my son's favorite part. HAT? HAT! The caps move so you can have them forward, backward, sideways. At 18 months, my son still mouths everything. These dolls are big enough that I don't worry that he'll choke on them. They seem quite durable - we were handed down an 8-year-old set of Duplo with some other figures that all still look new. (ps - the #1 favorite toy is the rocking horse he got from his other grandmother)

I orders these as a gift for my two-year-old niece for Christmas because she loves "the people." We enjoyed these ones in particular because she lives and goes to school in a very diverse neighborhood. The only bad thing was that we weren't sure, when ordering, what nationalities came in the set and were hoping for an Asian (Japanese) family because my husband (her godfather) is Japanese. We looked through the four pictures but couldn't tell from those so I wish they would have listed it on the description or included more families in the set. Very cute and obviously very durable though and she loves them!!

I just purchased this set because my 2 year old loves duplo people. And love these little figures, he sure does. So on that account, this is a winner.

However, I bought it based on the description of "world" and reviews talking about other cultures. What I got was different enough that I had to look carefully and review my order to see if I had gotten the right thing. The box doesn't say "world", it says "education". And while the figures have different skin and hair color, that's about all that makes them diverse. They are all dressed like Americans. Tee shirts, overalls, jackets, etc. But if you look close at the listing photos, I got what I purchased.

So if you are looking for something that represents diversity in America, you'll be happy. Just look very closely at the photos of the item. If you are expecting something that represents world cultures, you'll be sadly surprised.

I LOVE THE DIVERSITY!!! My Toddler just enjoys playing with them. I dont think she even notices the diversity yet. I hope she never does and can live in a world where you are noticed for who you are as a person and not the color of your skin or your gender. She made a train with her duplos that they all promptly sat on. She plays with them alone in various places. I have even seen her stand them around her dises as she feeds them her pretend food:) I love that there are both female and male characters in all different colors. Terrific toy lego!! This diversity should be extended to all your product lines. Girls love legos too!!

We've had this set for a couple of years now, and my son still plays with the figures on a regular basis. I love the diversity that's represented here - not only is it a realistic reflection of the world we live in, it also reinforces an important message of inclusion. (As my son is now graduating from DUPLO to "big boy" LEGO sets, I am extremely disappointed and shocked to find that the 31-piece LEGO Community Workers set of figures is 100% Caucasian! We won't be buying that one. Shame on LEGO.)

I was very excited waiting for these little guys to arrive for my 15 month old grand-daughter but when they did arrive I was very disappointed to find we did not get a whole set. We received two duplicate bags of the same one family and the rest were miss-matched as though they ran out of the set so tossed in a hand full of what was laying around to meet the quantity requirement. Will be sending them back to get a new set.

i bought this for my preshool department and when I opened the package I was thrilled. These are really neat additions and the children love them. I would definitely buy these again.
