Easy to assemble.

You can't beat Legos for many, many hours of fun, and parents can feel good about the educational value at the same time.

At the top of the tower , there is a mechanism which fires a net, to trap the dinosaur (which is a really nice feature).

I like it because there's a jet ski and that huge tower. I like that there's a net that blasted out to get the dinosaur, and I like that there's a fish for bait because I like Lego fish. I like the gun because it has a green thing on top of it, and i like the dinosaur because it can fly. I like to hang the gun and the other accessory on the tool rack on the dock, and I also like the computer and satellite dish. I think kids will like to buy it because it's a really good set and the fish goes on the stick.

My son loves LEGOs and he wanted LEGO Dino because he saw in the LEGO club magazine (definitely need to hide any new LEGO club magazine). This set has a flying dinosaur and a net which were unique. LEGO likes to reuse pieces to make new sets so this tower is similar in concept to the Toys Story 3 Trash Compactor Escape (7596) tower. My son is 5 years old and he could build LEGO sets for 8-14 years old so this was a very easy set to build. He loves to role play with the set after it has been finished.

Lego's Dino Tower Take down is a great set to complete with the Dino theme. It's actually more accurate in relation to realism than the rest of the sets. This set basically is a tower, it comes with a base, platforms, and little jet ski. The jet ski docks next to the platform, the platform connects to the tower, there's a ladder that leads up to the tower, the tower has a satellite dish, computer screen, and net launching device. I was amazingly surprised with the net launcher because it actually works without any spring mechanism. And of course we have the Pteranodon, which just like the rest of the dinosaurs, amazingly detailed and sculpted. The figure is accurately detailed from the head and mouth to the wings and legs. My only complaint with the set is it doesn't come with some sort of attachment for the jet ski to the dock. As we all know, in real life if you don't anchor down your boat/canoe/jet ski its going to float away. And I really wished the wings of the Pteranodon came in two parts, so we can fold the arms down and tips up to make it seem as the Pteranodon is walking upright. I would still recommend this set to everyone though.

This was a gift for my 12 year old grandson who is extremely creative and artistic. This type toy nutures those traits and he spends many happy hours creating masterpieces.

Bought this as a gift for my 13 year old son. He loves it! He is a legomaniac! He said it met all his expectations and the teraydactile was great he has configured it about 6 different ways. If your kids don't have it, buy it! hope that helps.
9 months later: My son continues to enjoy this set, although as is the custom for lego builders the pieces have been assimilated into new creations!. He uses the figures and the Dinos to form new story lines, love is still in the air!.
Enjoy.

After I purchased this item I noticed that I could have purchased it from Walmart for $20. I paid twice what this item is worth. Also, I bought other Lego items with more parts for half the cost. Not worth the price.
