My 2 1\2 year old received the bus and the fire truck for Xmas.
The fire truck is very cute but does not always stay together all that well for little kid play and it is not an easy fix for my 2 year old to try and put the truck together like the box.
Being 2 he wants to be able to do things himself. He still enjoys the toy a lot and it is cute, but he does have more frustrations with this toy VS the bus.
He will get frustrated with this, but not the bus, it is all one piece no fuss.
The lights and sirens are VERY cool!!! I do like how easy it is to put the people in the cab for little fingers and hands.
The ladder is also very neat and a fun accessory for the 2 year old. The 2 hoses are confusing and almost unnecesary, they don't even look nice on the truck because they are so stiff.

Our two year old grandson opened this package and didn't play with any of his other numerous new toys the rest of Christmas Day! Very age appropriate!

We bought this for my two year old son's Christmas. He put it together with help from me and then proceeded to tear it apart and put it back together for the next few hours. It comes with two little duplo men and it a really fun playset for a good price. I'm glad we bought it and will likely be giving it as a gift for others kids next year.

I read other reviews and decided to purchase this product because my 2-1/2 year old loves Lego's and firetrucks right now. The product is totally adorable when put together, but he has very little interest in it after about 5 minutes. He would much rather play with his regular Lego's because there are so many more possibilities for the imagination. As far as fire trucks go, the product is not very fun because as it is made of Lego's, it falls apart rather quickly.

My 3.5 plays with duplo blocks all the time. We've always kept it pretty simple with a buildplate, a few people and animals, and a few cars and trains. But oh boy does he LOVE this fire truck. What a big hit! This will require some assembly help for most kids but since the first few times he now makes his all. And it has several interesting configurations. The ladder has a life of its own and gets into a lot of mischief. Excellent quality.

We avoid toys with batteris and flashing lights but the small light on top of the fire truck is also much loved.

Edited to add that I really like the larger size truck cab and back. We've had lots of fun building other monkey powered rocket ships too!

This truck has been a hit with kids from ages 7 to 2. We love Duplo toys because of their durability too.

We purchased this toy as a present for our godchild's birthday. Unfortunately, some parts were missing. Our friend contacted the seller and in a few days all the missing parts were supplied. That is really great service!! Totally recommended.

Fire Truck got to the scene in good time, and performed well. Driver very satisfied and excited. It will be out on service a lot.

I must admit this is a great toy. It comes with some nice pieces for the price, because Lego's are expensive. This set lights up and has a siren, awesome, my son would say. He loves it. It also comes with options to change the truck to 3 different designs (shown on box). Guarantees that he wont be bored of these Lego,s for a while.

My son is 3 and totally obsessed with all things firemen.
My parents bought him a toy firetruck but this is way better.
The beauty of Legos is he can play rough and it will fell apart, but unlike other toys it can be put back together again.
Legos are pricey and you get very few pieces with this, but it is worth the premium.
