This is the latest of several Duplo sets which I've purchased for one three-year-old grandson (I have six grandchildren, 3 are 3 year-old boys!) He lives in Australia, where everything is twice the price that it is in the USA. It was a HUGE hit for his birthday yesterday - I watched him playing with it, via Skype. I've been a Lego fan for 40 years, since discovering it for my own children - I still love to play with it myself! My kids had the original Duplo blocks, which were a good starting point, but I'm very pleased with the variety of pieces now available in that size. The animals have been particularly popular with all my grandchildren. One great feature of Lego is it's durability: unless lost inside the sofa, sucked up by the vacuum cleaner, or chewed by child or dog, it lasts forever!

WE are big duplo fans and have numerous sets. This is probably one of the most disappointing. The Truck, trailor and base plate are great, and salvage some of the rating, but the rest of the set really does not "measure up". It is really hard for the set to stay together when set up as design. It relies on mostly 2 and 4 sized pieces for the "walls" or upright parts of the "building" It really is not a building but more of a Facade when built.

I got this toy for my 2.5 year old twins. They absolutely love this and will play with it for much longer than I expected. Great toy and entertainment.

I just bought this set for my son. My wife decided she wanted building blocks for my son and they had to be age appropriate. They look like they are going to be perfect for a 2 year old. The blocks are big and their is enough of a challenge for their little hands. It also gives them a few options as far as the design they want to use. Overall I think it will be fun for any young child.

Truck, trailer, horse, stables, etc. It's all there. Our 3yr got this for Christmas over a month ago & still plays with it almost daily.

My 2-1/2 yr old granddaughter loves this set. We bought this for her along with the Legoville Chicken Coop and Legoville Farm Nursery. She has built all kinds of towers and loves playing with the animals. She even used the green base and pretended the blocks on top were a cake. This toy stimulates lots of imagination and is practically indestructible. I highly recommend this toy. We still have the Legos her father played with when he was little.

I bought this Duplo set for my 3 year old daughter for Christmas and it was a huge hit. She is very much into horses and the blocks are super easy to use and very safe. The horses are very cute and she and her brothers love playing with them. Great gift for the entire family!

I liked this toy a lot - it is durable and you don't need to worry about little ones swallowing little pieces they could choke on. Unfortunately, in my experience, children over 18 months tend to get bored of this toy very quickly. It just didn't seem to be as much fun for them, or maybe it is only really for animal/horse loving children. Either way, I think it is a good buy, but try not to spend over thirty five dollars for it - it is not worth more than that.

This is a great Lego set with a good variety of pieces, at a fair price. My daughter loves the horses and people and has given them all names, and plays with the truck and trailer with her other Duplo Legos as well. I like that it's not gender-oriented (read: all pink and frilly) and I'm sure that we'll get years of use out of the set, with my son taking over her toys in a couple of years.

WOW! Got this Legville Horse Stable (including horses, truck, horse trailer, fencing, people & other accessories) my for almost 3-year old grandson, to be put aside for Christmas or his Christmas season birthday. I opened it to check that all the pieces were there, & I ended up PLAYING WITH IT MYSELF for a half hour!

DUPLO toys are durable, bright, teach building skills, and inspire imaginative play. I can't wait to watch this toy be unwrapped and know it will lead to hours and hours of 'little-boy' fun.

Although DUPLO items are compatible with the medium size Mega-Blocks, the toy quality of Lego DUPLO far EXCEEDS that of Mega-Blocks.

I know these will last for many, many years, like all of the Lego products played with by now grown-up parents (& grandparents). Thanks, Lego, for continuing to encourage children's wonder & imagination -- and doing a bang-up job!
