Very Cool,

This review is from: LEGO Exo-Force Mobile Defense Tank (Toy)
Notes: If you see this on clearance, buy it. It has lots of parts for custom models.
Postitves: lots of good parts, great value, looks awesome, folds up for storage, moving parts, minifigs have two facial expressions (angry or very angry) Negatives: light brick does not have a repaceable battery, treads do not move unless applied pressure to, 32 stickers (annoying to put on, can fall off), disc shooter does not work well, overall gimmicky. price/parts ratio: 10/10 construction: 8/10 functionality: 8/10 minifigs: 6/10 cool factor: 10/10 overall:great buy

A Kid's Review
This review is from: LEGO Exo-Force Mobile Defense Tank (Toy)
I just got it from Toys r us. It's hard to build but I like it. I like its firing disk and its treads and guns. It even has ryo in it! I built it in 1 afternoon.

If you have a kid who loves anime-style mecha, or are a big kid yourself who loves them, you simply cannot go wrong with this product. My dad bought me this just for fun last Christmas, and it sat around unopened in it's box for several months. Well, one boring Sunday afternoon I came across it in my little hobby nook, and decided "What the heck; I loved Legos as a kid, so I'll kill some time and assemble this sucker". Man, am I glad that I did! This is not the same old "blue and grey boxy-looking kit" that I recall from my childhood...no, this is a hyper-stylized, VERY anime-influenced kit that was a joy to build and a real pleasure to look at. The overall design is extremely well thought-out, and it just simply looks really neat. The "assault tank meets 4-legged rover" style of this toy is super-cool, and the quality and (surprisingly) the sturdiness of this kit make it an absolute winner. Hands down, the hippest, most appealing, and overall highest quality Lego product I've ever seen. These are NOT the generic space Legos you remember from childhood; this is a mean-looking, menacing battle machine. My dad bought it just for the fun of buying his now-adult kid a toy for Christmas, but it now sits proudly on my computer desk, ready to annihilate any would-be foes that should come trespassing around my PC. It literally puts a smile on this "grown-up" guy's face every time it catches my eye. This would be a rockin' gift for any young Lego enthusiast, and it makes my inner child very happy. A great little product that would be ideal for an imaginative child, or even a fully-grown 3D computer modeler in search of some inspiration. Highly recommended.
