Great Indy set,

This review is from: LEGO Indiana Jones and the Lost Tomb (Toy)
This set is a nice little Indiana Jones set. You get the lost temple, two Anubis statues that Indy can topple and break through some walls, although you don't get the extra room with all the corpses, but there is a snake trap that dumps snakes into the room. You also get the Ark of the Covenant and of course Indy and Marion Ravenwood.

Lego's teach patience and following directions. My grandson, at 5 1/2, has conquered sets past the age recommended on the package. It gives us time together, working quietly and talking about "Lego's and Life" while watching him get the satisfaction that he actually built the toy he gets to play with. We also glue many of the parts to make them more durable in his play scenarios.

My son is 11 and received this kit for his birthday. He had recently "discovered" the Indiana Jones movie series and wanted to collect the related LEGOs kits. It was fairly easy for him to put together, but he really enjoys that it mirrors the movie so well and pieces move - statues topple, snakes fall down, etc. He's taken it apart and put it back together several times, and he's even used other LEGOs pieces to enhance the scene. This usually results in him making up new story elements, which is great imaginative play.
