4.0 out of 5 stars Lego Indianna Jones a HIT
Although a bit pricey worth every penny. I purchased it for my 6 year old Godson and he absolutely loved it. It kept his attention for hours and was simple enough for him to assemble .

3.0 out of 5 stars falls apart easily
My son loves Indiana Jones and he loves legos...need I say more? The only, but big, disappointment is how easily the track falls apart. If you barely bump it, it falls over. There is no reinforcement in critical areas in the lego design, which is a bummer. It gets frustrating for him to constantly have to reset the pieces, only to have them break apart again! Lego...

There is no reinforcement in critical areas in the lego design, which is a bummer. It gets frustrating for him to constantly have to reset the pieces, only to have them break apart again! Lego needs to tweak the blueprints for this one! 3 stars for fun is because of this design flaw; otherwise it would have earned 5 stars for the fun it COULD provide if it actually stayed together! (and no, you cannot reinforce it with your own extra legos because of the way it is put together...there is not room to do it)

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Lego Set, January 30, 2010

This is the best lego set I have ever put together. The trapdoors work great and the mine carts run very well on the track. You have to put the minifigures in just the right spot in the carts though, but once you get them in the right spot you can race into action! There is definitely danger, action and thrills in the Temple of Doom! This set is very, very fun to play

P.S. If the trapdoors don't open the fist time, open and close them about 25 times then put a figure on it and pull the lever. The adventure begins!

Bought this for my son on his 7th birthday. It took him all day to assemble it the first time and 2 min to destroy it. The second time around it took him just 5 hours and some school glue because he wants to play with it. Great product for play and display. Adventure is out there!!

My son asked for this item for Christmas. It was no longer available on Lego's website, nor could we find it in any store. We ordered it online through Amazon and had it shipped to Grandma's (which is where we celebrated the holidays). The payment process and shipping went very smoothly. To top it off, this Lego set provided several hours of entertainment for my son. He is good at building things and loves Lego's Indiana Jones series (he has had other sets in the past). This set was easy enough for him to put together without parental help (he is 8 years old) while also complicated enough to challenge him. It was possibly the single best gift he has ever received. The added bonus is that this set is functional as a toy. Many Lego sets are made just for building and tearing down, i.e. they don't DO anything once they are built. This toy is something that can be played with after it is built.

This was a big hit. Recomend for any Legomaniac. (Just remember many pieces involved) Little to no supervision needed for those over 8. The 3 year wait was well worth the look on my nephews face Christmas morning went he open this gift.

The Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom set is a wonderful set. Im 12 and this set was not that hard to build at all(I did it by myself all of you that help you'e children). It is very fun to play with. I do have one problem. there is a booby trap along the track that takes forever to activate. It is a coal trap along the track. once you pull the lever for it 5 seconds go by befor it works. It is also hard to move it to diffret places because of how long it is so you shold build it in a place where you can play with it and keep there when you are not playing with it. I honestly think this lego set should cost alittle less but I got my moneys worth.
