A chest full of treasure, as well as the admiration of King Leo himself, awaits the victor of the Castle Royal Joust from LEGO. Part of the Knight's Kingdom series, this 99-piece LEGO set comes complete with two LEGO knight figures that can be mounted on two separate horse figures, along with all the weapons and accessories necessary for a LEGO-style, medieval joust. The set also comes with a King Leo figure, the leader of the Lion knights, who can watch the competition from the comfort of his elaborate LEGO throne. A swiveling joust target gives the knights an opportunity to test their skills against each other--and to knock their opponents off of their horses. An illustrated brochure provides easy-to-follow, step-by-step assembly instructions. Other LEGO Knight's Kingdom sets are sold separately. --Chris Burns

I was really impressed by the incredible amount of detail in this small set. The knights, their shields, and their horses are colorful and fun. The castle has a stained glass window and lion figureheads.
While this isn't the largest or most impressive looking of the Lego castles, I found it to be the perfect size for a 7-year-old beginner at Lego building. With some help from his older brother, my son was able to build his first Lego castle. A month after getting it, he still enjoys it and plays with it often. Unlike another Lego set that he had, this one has no durability problems and didn't keep falling apart after it was assembled. It's great for kids who actually want to play with the finished pieces, instead of just displaying them.

You get a king, a royal knight, and the evil Cedric the Bull.
That equals hours of fun and many different possibilities. Oh, yeah, there's also a hard to find Horse Blanket.

These toys keep both of my boys happy for hours. They just love them! They build, break them down and build them again and again. I bought a large box to store our Lego collection so clean up doesn't have to be hard for them and they can always find the pieces because they are so into it that they don't want to loose any. I also purchased the large gray Lego basemat so they had some more building room and they love that too. They are both young and this toy has an age recommendation of 6+ I believe but my 3 year old love to play with his big brother who is 7 and they would play for hours if I would let them.
