I bought this software for a 12 year old boy. He has some developmental delays, but is very good on the computer and
is a Lego fanatic. He/we were very disappointed when the software arrived and his Vista computer was not listed as one of the systems that would
be compatible with the software. However, the little video was playable, and eventually my little friend DID figure out how to get the game working!!
So I would consider this an educational tool, since he figured it out for himself, and an EXCELLENT value!!!!

Very fun game when it came out. Still a classic.

The only reason its being rated poorly here is due to problems with XP (remember - this game's almost 15 years old). You should be able to run it on Vista just fine though.

My son is a Lego Train fanatic and he LOVES this game. The graphics are nothing exciting, but he likes that he can create the train and the city, then have the train move on the tracks that he built. We run it on a Vista PC and have not had any problems. I tried installing it on our laptop that runs XP... and it just crashes.

this is a good game if you still have old 98 system. It would NOT install on XP
the description is misleading. I think they put XP in the description here because no one is using 98 or 2000

My two girls- ages 5 and 8- played this at a friend's house and loved it. They were very excited that we have our own copy. It is funa dn easy to use.

I could not get the game installed on our pc nor did I get adequate help from the vendor on how to trouble shoot (my pc fits the specs required of the s/w). I did have my nephew try to install and he has an info sysm degree and he was also unsuccessful. The game was not that expensive so I did not pursue spending the money on postage to return. I will not buy from this vendor again.

This game is loved by both of my children. I wish there was more typed instruction on how to navigate around in the game, however, we are figuring it out and are enjoying every minute of it!
