Predecessor to LEGO Mindstorms, December 21, 2008
= Durability:3.0 out of 5 stars = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: LEGO Mindstorms: Star Wars Droid Developer Kit (Toy)
This is the 1999 released Lego product that precedes the LEGO Mindstorms NXT. If you are looking for a discontinued collectible, this product may be for you. But otherwise this product pales in comparison to its successor, LEGO Mindstorms NXT. The brain of this set is called Micro-Scout, but it is much more limited in functionality than the latest version 'NXT.' Micro-scout only has one light sensor and one motor, while 'NXT' has 3 motors and 4 replaceable sensors.
