These minifigures are sold out on Lego.com as well as in most lego stores. While they are a cute surprise and a fun way to expand your minifigure collection, they are by no means worth more than a few dollars, especially in the blind packaging, unless you are a collector and don't mind paying double or triple the original price for a mint package. Please be aware that this seller is charging four dollars for shipping PER FIGURE, which means the total for four of them is twenty-seven dollars, with sixteen dollars for the shipping cost alone. This jacks up the cost per figure well over MSRP and turns a small stocking-stuffer item into a pricey trinket. Lego items are prone to scalping this time of year (it is worse on the advent calendars) and buyers can be particularly susceptible to this kind of hidden cost.
Also, the minifigure series tends to have a lot of repeats. If your child wants a certain minifigure, you may be better off buying a figure that has been opened already and wrapping it yourself for the surprise factor. Don't buy a big bunch expecting to have a good selection of figures.

There was no way of knowing how many figures were included. I had no idea it was just one, as the product was always referred to as "minifigures." I would never have paid this price (and the exorbitant shipping charge) had I known I was getting just one figure.

the lego minifigures series 2 collection is great. it includes: pop star, karate master, spartan, weight lifter, pharaoh, mime, vampire, witch, surfer, maraca man, life guard, disco dude, ring master, jungle explorer, traffic cop, and, skier. you can tell which minifig is in each bag, they have different barcodes on the back right of the bag. for decoder, go to, www.it'salltrue.net. and search for "mini figures 2". but you will have to buy them in person. accessories are great and unique but it looks like they repeat in series 3.

Was not something that anyone had any control over, but I only ordered 2 packs and my daughter was disappointed that they where both the same minifigure.
