LEGO Mars Mission MT-61 Crystal Reaper

I bought this toy 5 weeks back. I loved it.It is very mechanical.Pros:Harvester Blades smash most of my Lego pieces.Jet is easy to take out.Missiles shoot out very good.Truck comes out in a flash.Test labs makes a good fit on it.Cons:none so far.Great toy.

Right after I finished the MT-61 Crystal Reaper, it broke a minute later. I asked my mom to help, but she couldn't. I finished it in 5 to 6 hours. When I was building it, it was sturdy, but when it was done.....BAM!! Even though it broke, I still made my own design.

MOM'S NOTE: Yes, I was unable to fix the pieces that simply wouldn't stay put; maybe he had made a little mistake way back, but by the end I couldn't fix the problem, no matter how hard I studied the instructions. I encouraged him to turn it into a design of his choosing, and he has enjoyed the set ever since.

It's awesome! i'm 13, and I love legos, and if you are going to get this, definitely buy the motors to make it move!!!!!!!!

This is a neat looking set with cool treads. I didn't like the dorky arms on it. I removed them and actually put them on another Mars Mission set (an idea I got from the Lego Battles DS game). The tailgate is weak and tends to break easily, and in general the base (attached to the treads) does not hold together as well as the detachable upper portion.

This model was barely $60 off the shelf new. I remember vividly - it was only a year and a half ago! I'm glad I bought it when I did.

When I got this set for a present It looked so cool that I dropped everything and built it right away. It took me around 2 and a half hours to build it, and when I did, I was amazed at how sturdy it was and how cool it looked.

NOTE: The tracks on the tank function the best on carpet or ground, not a wooden floor, and the power functions are EXPENSIVE and uses up all the room in the vehicle

I finally got enough money to purchase this LEGO, when I got it and built it I was very pleased. The model looks so cool! and the duriblity of this toy is very good and it is very fun to play with. I really like Mars Mission and was very happy with this protuct, it was very well designed, I higly recommend this LEGO!!!!

My seven year old is playing with this lego set nonstop. The instructions for building were so clear that he put it together on his own!! He uses his other legos to make pieces to a mars mission village. Lots of creative fun.

I bought this toy for my precocious 7 year old. He loves it. I'm typing in HIS review. "This toy is REALLY cool! But I wish it came with the power functions so that I didn't need to use more birthday money to buy those pieces, too."

This toy is very cool. The next time you get a Mars Mission toy I recamend this one.
