I am 5 1/2 years old. The stone chopper is really fun, sometimes both wheels move and sometimes just the back wheel moves. It wasn't too hard or easy to put together, it has stayed together really well while I play with it, except for this little diamond on the side which is lost now. I can't wait to get more power miners stuff. I also like that I can combine this with other power miner toys to make new things, and that I can put it together myself.

This toy is very fun for all ages. Durable for the little ones and great building experince for the older ones. I thought every penny was worth it! Did not lose any pieces and the instuctions were great and easy to read! Again very fun and a terrific buy!!!!! Written by Colin and Ian-***

it's a very nice lego set but the one thing i don't like about it is that there is no way for it to attack rock monsters but besides that it is good set it is very durable easy to put together and fun to play with

My 10 year old loved putting this together. Plus being able to attach other sets to make it bigger was a great draw for him to collect more pieces. He loves the crystal guys that come with them.

I bought this set because I wanted the Power Miner figure and rock monster for my Lego collection. This set comes with one Power Miner figure which has an awesome printed torso and legs; and a blue helmet. He also has a cool double sided head with one side being a happy/confident face and the other being a surprised/alarmed face. This set also comes with one Meltrox rock monster that is a mixture of gray and transparent red. You can also put the red crystal inside of him. The Stone Chopper was a neat build and when finished it looks very rough and tough. The only not so good thing about the Stone Chopper is there is a red diamond placed oddly on the side (it's not a bad thing it just looks funny). Anyway, here are the basics of the set:

Over all, I highly recommend this set.

I have a lot of fun with this set.It is a great deal if you get it for $10.00. Sometimes I make the stone chopper run over the monster that has the crystal in his mouth,and he spits it out.

My son who is five loves this toy. I put it together for him because of all the small parts that I didn't want him to lose, but he really liks this little toy.

When I first saw this series, I actually thought it looked a little babyish and my second-grader wouldn't be interested. Quite the contrar! These rock monsters that come with these sets are just awesome! I think they want the sets just to get the monsters, particularly because they're quite nice - they're made of clear plastic so they are really neat. Plus, it's particularly cool to watch their heads flip off! Anyway, this is a very much loved lego in this house and we're out looking for more. The really cool red monster comes with this set. Highly recommend!

We received this pretty quickly. It was exactly what my 8 year old wanted, but probably not as challenging for him as he would have liked. He did love it though.
