This is a great game. It has four different racing modes, Circuit Race, Single Race, Versus Race(and that would make one of the few PC games that has multiplayer), and Time Trial.
This game also gives you the ability to create your own cars by clicking on the Build button in the main menu. Every time you get First in a Circuit Race you get the Champion's Car Set, and that lets you use all the pieces from his car to make your own.
After you have beaten every track, you try and beat Vernica Voltage in the time trial. All along the way you can pickup power ups to help you, from giving you a boost to giving you a weapon. This is just an overall good Game.

This game is the best Lego game I have played yet (and I've played a lot of them), and, in my opinion, one of the best PC games ever. If you're wondering which Lego racing game to get, buy this one. Its better than Lego Racers 2. When I received this game, I could never come away from the computer. That is, until I got sick from it. One great thing about it is the wonderful graphics. They set this game apart from even LR2!

Your big mission is this: to outrace Rocket Racer (the fastest racer in the galaxy) and Veronica Voltage (RRs friend who owns a record-breaking car). This is easier said than done.

Starting out, you have 3 choices: build a new racer (and his car), play in a Time Trial (which I will talk about later), or try out one of the first four races (in Single Race mode). In each one, you will have 6 racers to deal with. Once you think youre ready, you can go through all four of those races in a Circuit Race. At the end of a given race, you receive a certain amount of points, depending on what place you got. At the end of the Circuit Race each racers points are added up. If you are in the top three, you unlock the next four races. If you get 1st in the Circuit Race, you unlock a car set. It gives you more pieces to build with while making a racer.

There are four sets of four races, plus one big race, the showdown. It adds up to 17 great racetracks in all. And, unlike Lego Racers 2, each race is very different. You will go through tropical beaches, medieval castles, evil palaces, weird planets, and pirate territory. Also, each race has a shortcut hidden in a certain place on the track.

To make racing even more exciting, LEGO has laid power-ups on the track for you to pick up. Theyll give you the ability to: shoot missiles, grappling hooks, and laser beams at your opponents; lay traps for them with explosives, oil, and mind traps; protect yourself with four levels of laser shielding; or catch up with single, double, and triple turbo jets as well as a time warp (the best power-up of all).

This game also has a great multiplayer mode. Race against a family member or a friend and itll split the screen in half. But this mode is only available when you own a keyboard and a game controller, joystick, or steering wheel.

Once youve won each of the Circuit Races and beaten Rocket Racer himself, there is still Veronica Voltage to beat. You might think, Ive beaten RR, it couldnt be too hard to beat VV. But youre wrong. You need to beat her on every track except for the one in Rocket Racers world. No matter how much you practice, you can never seem to win. Heres an important tip: study exactly how she (VV) races on each track and copy her. One of those days youll cross the finish line before she does.

After that, youve won. Youll probably feel like throwing a party with all your friends! This game is incredible. Its well worth the money. GET IT.

Steering wheel recommended for maximum fun. Any wheel will do. At first it seems hard, but with just a little practice, you'll be challengine the best the game has to offer. Some circuits are extreemly difficult to defeat, but none are impossible. What a ride!!!
