4.0 out of 5 stars cool lego head - a kid's review February 1, 2012
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
I have tested my Lego Sort & Store in a science experiment for school. I found out that it sorts very differently from time to time, even when you use exactly the same bricks every time. What happens is that some brick sizes fall in two layers in the sorter, so you will have to look in more than one tray, for the brick you are searching for.
If you are looking for a specific brick, then the sorter might not be helpful, but if you want your bricks roughly sorted, it will be very useful.
I like the Lego Sort & Store a lot. It is awesome for decoration and to store my Lego in.

3.0 out of 5 stars Works ok, but nothing amazing. July 16, 2011

As other reviewers have said, this does not do a great job sorting the LEGOs. It still leaves a lot of work to be done after it has does it's sorting. The item below does a much better job:

Lego Toy Storage and Sorter Box | Award Winning BOX4BLOX Lego Organizer Makes it Easy to Sort and Store Lego | Great Gift Idea For Lego Loving Kids | Made in America

However, even the product above does not do a perfect job. I usually find I still just sort them all by hand because it is quicker and then I do not have to listen to the horribly loud sound of LEGO shaking around in plastic.

3.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't sort well April 18, 2011

I was really excited when I saw this product on Amazon, something that would sort Legos for me sounded amazing. Well it doesn't work like I had hoped, simply because most Legos are either one or two dots wide. So it separates them essentially into two piles. For the projects and artwork that we do I need them separated in much more detail than just two or even three piles. I kept it anyway and did not return it because it is kind of cute. But don't expect it to do the hard work for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars sorter
Terrific, kids and parents love this. It's a fun way to organize. It looks cute sitting out as a decoration and gets used that way too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very cool - my son loves it
It's about the coolest lego storage you could find. The sorting layers are an interesting touch; even if they don't perfectly sort at least they split up the amount of legos such... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Bought as Christmas gift
It was a little smaller than I thought it would be but ended up able to hold lots of legos.

4.0 out of 5 stars does what it is supposed to
but it is hard for my 7yo to put back together and get the lid on correctly, he gets pretty frustrated with it. Plastic seems a little weak to me, we'll see how long it lasts. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Great gift for my son
My son has about a zillion LEGO pieces, and this is a great way to keep track of the bulk of them. It looks good in his room and has a handle for easy movement. Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money!
Sorter doesn't work near as well as it should.
The clips were broken when I received the item, so the stack-able trays basically just fall out.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Big Hit!
Bought this for my 6 year old nephew and he was psyched! The quality appears to be good and he's looking forward to putting his Legos in it when he gets home!

5.0 out of 5 stars A good purchase for organization and fun.
Everything looks good. A little smaller than I thought but it serves its purpose. If your child, nephew niece, etc. has a ton of lego's, you may want to order a few!!
