This was a Christmas present for my 6.7 year old. He attacked each of the two spaceships with zeal and built both of them in a day each with very minimal help from me.

Once finished, each ship looks really neat and has some cool features. The villain spaceship takes clear design cues from the Road Warrior's pursuit car. Each ship, when finished, is durable enough to play with. By that, I mean that each one is strong enough to grab and chase someone else around the house with.

A great Lego product for any boy that likes space, police, or hotrod stuff.

This set is one of the first in the Space Police series and comes with the bad guy minifigures of the twins. Quite frankly, their car is awesome! The boys go nuts over the bad guy car because of all the cool decals and the fire blasters in the back (yes, we ALL want a REAL black car to drive like Batman's that shoots fire from the boosters!). What makes this set so neat is that it stands up to hours and hours of playtime. The extra detail that went into this set is so nice and the boys spend hours taking over the space world with this set. Don't miss this one - grab it before it's gone! Highly recommend!

My 7 year old son received this Lego set for Christmas and was super-excited to get started building. He had the item finished in no time. Not sure how long the pieces will remain seperate from the general Lego-population but for now, the spaceship looks mighty nice.

Great product. My kids couldn't wait to get this open and they enjoyed building it.

Ordered this set for my 10 year old who is a complete Lego Star Wars freak
and he loves it. This is a great way for him to learn to follow directions and complete a project by himself. Excellent learning tool as well as a great toy !!!

Pros:

- It is fun shooting the cryogenic pod and then shooting the windshield of the officer's vehicle.

- I like pretending the box full of gold bars falls out.

- I like changing who is in the officer's vehicle and who is in the skull interceptor.

Cons:

- The antennae on the officer's vechile falls off a lot.

- The gold bars in the skull interceptor don't fall out like they show on the box.

- There aren't any 100 dollar bills in the set like they show on the box.

- The officer's vehicle doesn't actually shoot anything

Great toy, though it should be more durable. Pieces fall off constantly. It's like the LEGO Space Police series was intended for a 20 year old geek to build and put on a shelf, then never touch it ever again. Kids under the age of 6-7 are going to be very frustrated with this. The cockpits don't have hinges and everything fits "just so", cramped space. So they can barely get the LEGO men into the cockpits, jam them down too hard and the wing falls off.

My son bought this lego set with a Toysrus gift card he got for Christmas. It took him about 1 1/2 hours to build the set and he is infamous for breaking and losing the legos. This was one of the rare sets that he didn't lose the pieces and he loves the set. This set is durable and my son has a fun time building it and sometimes, he takes it apart and rebuild it. I will give every item on ranking this set a 5 star and i would highly recommend this set to any lego builder that likes a little challenge on building the sets.

Tom (6) spent the first few days he had this building and re-building both ships in the set. Now he's moved on to inventing his own, but still likes to build the originals now and again. Great directions.

This is a great set it is probably my favorite space police set ever. It was very easy to build but there are over 10! stickers. The skull twins vehicle is very cool but inside of the ship theres only one seat. The other cool thing about the skull twins ship is theres a ladder and behind it is a container that has gold! in it.Okay now on to the space police vehicle it is awsome! the pieces of the handle are a white head,skeletons foot,and a handle bar. The space police ship has rare tubes for the freeze ray on the front of the ship it also has a container to put the one of the skull twins in it and then fire the skull twins vehicles rocket that is very cool and the skull twin will be free.Overall I would recommend getting this set because this is one of two sets you can get a skull twin and the space police cop in and both the vehicles are very cool.
